Description
RE Hercules-Dropship is Modular High-G Dropship & Ground Battle Capital Vessel (busting drone base with 48 planetary turrets [RE] + 24 sentry guns & XENO Hull) specifically designed to take out shielded bases in Reforged Eden.
This CV is compatible with Helios (Similar to Apollo HGD1 Module), and upcoming my XENO carrier HERCULES (space only carrier).
With default setting (~2.7 mil CPU power), you can take out one shielded base after cleaning all the nearby drones.

# This CV can be spawned in Vanilla (Non Reforged Eden), please remove red T4 CPU to use it if device limit is off.

After all, it is too expensive to drive space battle ships to high-g planets, so this drop ship and carrier combination would make more sense for the late game contents.

##### Hercules Series #####

# This ship is part of Hercules Series which is a carrier with mission specific modules.
-Hercules Series is specially designed for hard core users in Reforged Eden server environment with M/V, CPU, device limit options turned on & the users who want to survive the most harsh environment, but also can be used for casual users (much easier late game play). Serious combat units will have low Size Class to minimize the lag.

- Two Helios Module compatible docking bay, 1 Helios Dropship module compatible docking bay, 6 Storage A docking bay, 4 CV tow docking pad, hangar for 8 large HVs

Please unload all SV/HVs before docking Hercules-Dropship on Hercules Carrier or Helios

Special Notes:
1. Please keep the distance within 100 m to fire laser turrets toward the ground POI in RE (in Vanilla, Laser Turrets are space only)
2. This ship will work the best with upcoming carrier "Hercules", but also compatible with Helios from jrandall.
3. Auxillery CPU or Quantum CPU extenders are required to meet the CPU requirement.
4. This ship is compatible with Vanilla game if you do not have device limit set on. Please remove red T4 CPU in the CPU room to have full 10 Mil CPU in normal game.
5. Laser Turrets are not planetary in Vanilla, so you can replace them with more projectile turrets.
6. # of Turrets does not exceed the limit in Reforged Eden to avoid excessive overpower - need some thrill to enjoy :)

The best usage of this ship would be 1) modular dropship covering high-gravity planets 2) Ground POI Buster especially for shielded bases.


# Upgrade Turret Spaces: some more turret space is reserved for heavy turrets.


█████ Gameplay Functional Features █████

* Agility
- can reach max speed for all directions, huge downward thruster for high-g planets.

* Battle
- default 48 planetary turrets (RE) + 24 Sentry Gun & spaces for heavy turrets.

* Enough Power: 2 Advanced Generators will provide enough power for any serious battle.


███ CPU Power Upgrade Tips ███
This ship requires Auxillary or Quantum CPU.

1. Large Auxillary CPU - 330,000 CPU Power Consumption Reduction (10 MAX)
- theoretically you can install 10 Auxillary CPU to cover additional 3.3 million CPU Power
##1) Research Large Auxillary CPU - (F3)
##2) Hunt Drone Faction CVs and gather Salvaged Drone Processor in M2 or R Star
##3) Build and install Large Auxillary CPUs in CPU room

2. Crew Member - 2,500 CPU Power Consumption Reduction per person. Buy it at trading posts.

3. Quantum CPU Extender - hunt super space POIs and Legacy POIs (like RE ver. Tovera Class) - 200,000 CPU Power Addition (Unlimited, but extreme battle required)

█████ How to get XENO blocks? █████
1. Get a decent CV and a HV tank with a Tool Turret
2. Find Legacy Ground POI with XENO blocks and salvage it (abandoned series)

I am going to build this ship and see if I can convert it for Reforged Eden 2. Do you have one in the works or do you have any pointers for me?

@H-DE, thanks for the note. though I am still having problem ... sometimes Artillery Launcher does not fire or cause crash, which might be my own problem. Also, Tovera-Class dreadnought seems to be upgraded, so I would have to give up Tovera-Class this time for the new ship. I will try one more week to see how it goes.

I changed the turret settings and ship's shape a lot to adapt new battle changes, but not satisfactory. I had to make big to defeat Tovera, otherwise the battle capability is still weaker than my expectation. I do not want to make big one... which is irony for me.

yeah i also had a problem, i did unsucribe reforged and resubcribe then all the funny icon were gone... then i did use my save and all was good. i did fight the xenu alien carrier with the seeker XE and had no problems so i killed it

@H-DE, sorry but yesterday's update changed battle balance, so maybe it will take a while to publish my new ships. I completed the space combat unit simliar size to SEEKER XE but could defeat TOVERA, but somehow everything changed from yesterday's update, so I cannot defeat TOVERA with this ship any more.

Only I could defeat TOVERA with my big ones, THANATOS or ATHENA.... The update seems to be related to shield and need time to experiment more...

yeah good idee, i need to go to get voidium soon, did kill a lot drones and other to get my 500ly warp stuff together. but still a lot work to do. So i hope to get the material in place to be ready to make some after you release the new stuff.

@H-DE, yeb, new space combat / salvage module will not have planetary turrets, no growing plot, no hangar, nor huge downward thruster for high g. It also supports M/V on by adding storage modules, but without M/V on, you don't need storage module, thus would have much more extra agility.

Good thing about this modular approach is that you can use Helios as compatible option :)
The only reason I am making new Carrier is for M/V on users, Helios would be too slow for them.
My new carrier is designed to handle more than 60 kt additional cargo weight for M/V on.

This modular approach would be much efficient option because of high-g dropship needs and huge storage requirement especially for voidium.

@jivaii thanks for testing it with storage module. 12kt, that is actually better than I expected :steamhappy:
Regarding the gap near shower, it is hide and seek place ha ha. just joking. I will fill it later~
