Single Point Urban Interchange (SPUI)

Interchanges with lane mathematics

Description
This is an elevated version of a Single Point Urban Interchange, or (SPUI). It's a 'service interchange', connecting a highway to a regular road network. It has a single traffic light at the center of the interchange with three steps.

- Cost: 22.640,-
- Maintenance: 300,-
- Lane mathematics are applied for a good traffic flow.

**IMPORTANT**
The use of TM:PE is crucial to make this interchange work as intended. Use TM:PE for the following things:
- Use the 'Lane Connector' tool to connect the lanes as shown in the screenshot.
- Add a 'timed traffic light' to the intersection in the center of the interchange with the setup as shown in the screenshots.
- Use the 'Junction Restrictions' tool to remove crosswalks.

Note: TM:PE can remove the functionality of crosswalks, but they remain visible. Subscribe to the 'Hide Crosswalks' mod by Kian Zarrin to VISUALLY remove the crosswalks as well. (recommended, not necessary)

Enjoy!

I've created updated versions of existing interchange types by applying 'lane mathematics'. With the use of several mods I've also managed to reduce the amount of nodes to a minimum and create smooth transitions between different road segments to create a smooth traffic flow. Want to know how 'Lane mathematics' work and how to use the functions of TM:PE? I recommend watching some of Biffa's traffic fixing video's at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLR5G_Kc9r-JDza2Bzd2GIA01_jVyHhhXw.

Any comments, suggestions and/or feedback is much appreciated! And if you like this asset so much that you think others should use it as well, then please rate it!

@Coosanta: I hear you. That said, I'm staying far far away from any NExt mod. Especially NExt3.

@Semyh: As for your PC/asset subscribtion situation: There are other Single Point Urban Interchanges on the Workshop that are completely Vanilla. Any particular reason you had your eye on this one?
MaxFX  [author] 5 Jun, 2021 @ 2:05pm
@Semyh, The USRP interchanges are made with roads from the USRP pack (US highway roads). They're also made useing the latest versions of Node Controller Renewal, Intersection Marking Tool, and some other mods.

These interchanges require the use of several more mods and assets to make them work.

What is the feature of the usrp intersection you made recently? Does it look different from others?

Yes, potato pc :(

@Semyh: The 24m road is not a mod, it's just a road asset. Subscribing to it doesn't affect your game, it only gives you an extra road to build with, like the other roads.

'Hide TM:PE Crosswalks' is not needed to make this interchange work. Only thing that mod does is visually hide the crosswalks whenever you decide to remove a crosswalk function off of an intersection or road. (as mentioned in the describtion).

So the only thing standing in the way of using this interchange is getting the 24m road. Any particular reason you don't subscribe to it?

I do not subscribe to 2 mods in the recommended mods, as I understand, there will be no problems. These are the mods I don't subscribe to; 24m four lane and Hide TMPE crosswalks.

@Semyh: This, and the other interchanges in the collection are Vanilla as can be, except for some Workshop road assets. As for mods: You don't need any mods to place this interchange, but the Single Point Urban Interchange can only function with the use of TM:PE for the lane connections (and preferably some traffic lights as well). Without it, the traffic AI doesn't know what to do and where to go on this type of interchange. The same applies for the Diverging Diamond.
