RIM AT WAR - WW2 Soviet SMGs!

This mod adds 4 soviet made submachine guns used by the Red Army during WW2 in the eastern front.

This mod was funded by Malla.

Rim At War is a mod series that focuses on introducing real life equipment and factions that existed and were used during World War 1-2 to Rimworld.

This mod serves entertainment purposes only and is to be used as so.
This mod is in no means to promote hate, or glorify violence in any way.








The PPSh, his prototype the PPD and the refined PPS are all old cheap submachine guns with high fire rate. In Rimworld you can expect them to be deadly on close quarters due to longer bursts than other firearms while been in general very inaccurate on medium and longer range encounters. Quite useful for less skilled pawns or to roleplay as a USSR-like colony.



- This mod is compatible with Combat Extended.

- This mod inlcudes support for Muzzle Flash.

- This mod includes .dds textures to increase performance when using Graphics Settings+ or similar.



Q: Are you planning on adding more weapons?
A: Yes, this will become a proper Soviet WW2 pack in the future.

Q: Are you planning on doing other WW2 mods?
A: Yes, equipment, apparel, vehicles, factions, emplacements, etc are all planned to be worked on sooner or later.

Q: Can the mod be added to existing saves?
A: Yes.

Q: Can the mod be removed from existing saves?
A: Is never a good practice to remove mods from ongoing saves. That said, this mod is quite simple and you should be able to fully remove it if you do it properly.

is it just me, or do these guns not consume ammo after the latest CE update? (doesn't have any of the other CE mechanics either, worked fine before)

idk if the guy below me was using vanilla but i goddamn love these, they're great for ambushing or rushing down enemies and the sound design is amazing lmfao

after the damage from these submachine guns was reduced, their value practically disappeared. Yes, they are quick-firing, but vanilla guns now do more damage. The modification has lost its purpose

oh sweet this is awesome! I also love your ukranian weapon showcase (especially the warcasket grenade launcher) Hopefully someone commissions you to make mosin/svt40's or hopefully some handguns that make use of the tokarev round even more!
