Description
The Kamonohashi XS MKIII is built for Reforged Eden scenario. It is an entry-level late-game ship with a lot of upgrade potential to its thrusters, weapons and utility.

The MKIII has drastic improvements to its combat capabilities. The ship’s front portion is heavily armoured, and the number of turret hardpoints is almost doubled. A layer of combat steel now separates thrusters from the interior of the ship. Although combat was the primary focus of the MKIII, it doesn’t jeopardize any of its hangar carrying capacity. Hangar space is plenty enough for all the necessary HVs & SVs. The front hangar doors have been replaced with a boarding ramp which a Maelstrom MKII can utilize. In terms of manufacturing capabilities, it can fit up to six advanced constructors, a slight improvement from the predecessor’s four numbers.

It’s capable of going into Drone territory to farm drone components for Auxiliary Cores even at its initial form. It’s capable of taking out a Kamirat Battle Carrier at its full form, albeit with many damages (be prepared to churn out ingots of all types in the thousands for the repairs) and a particular tactic is required. While it’ll take out Legacy Infectors easily, the Legacy Decimators are unfortunately untouchable even at its full form. By the time the Decimator's shields are down, 3/4 of the Kamonohashi weapons are gone.

@Loule04k Yes but funny thing is...what is the point? If You got 10 aux and few quantums then what is the point in taking a Tovera? This is the thing.. many of the ships are really shining at the end... when they are "maxxed". The question is... what to do with that? If a ship kickes a** at the end when You probably had to beat good enemies already to get this far then what is the point of having them? For show? I see this as a problem...I'm just asking questions..

That's why I... I beg You to explain how to fight with This Masterpiece. All of Your CVs... They are awesome and You say that they can destroy enemies but... You don't say what "tactic" to use etc.

@styLmntz... Tell me how should one fight enemies in Yout ship then. It's tanky.. meaning it is not very "agile' I know that it can shine and perform. Write here some tips on how it is designed to fight.. in the beggining at least. You said it below but I think that this ship would benefit from making the lower hangar section smaller and have more "agility" from the start plus more secured front. I am sorry because it is Your ship and it's awesome like I said. It just saddens me that it's hard to fight with it. Please.. tell me and others how we should fight with Your ship. Tips? What enemies to go againts in the beggining? Things like this. Again... huge respect to You, Sir :-)

Also, this ship is meant to be progressively upgraded. I'd start by farming drones parts with this ship. After 3 auxiliary cores, this ship would really start to shine.

I won't be doing anymore updates to this ship. I don't do major updates after a blueprint has been posted.

Wtih all due respect this ship should be classified as a battlecarrier but not a battlecruiser.. Or... Am I just using it wrong? I hope so. How can I use it when it flies like a tank... heavy slow turning tank.I see It has plenty of room for decoys in its front but after less than a minute of battle its front was gone.. I am writing to You again because it looks like a piece of art and I want to be able to use it as a battlecruiser... Again... what am I doing wrong? Why it blows up so fast :-/

It's a piece of art but can it really perform as a battlecruiser? Mr. styLmntz? I thing it needs some changes in the front section. I am sorry.

Sadly... it blows up quite fast... It's backward engines are too slow... It's frontal armour is quite weak... It can't really stay in battle long. If I may offer a suggestion... more and better frontal armour is much needed. Plus backwards thrust...It's is not very fast and not good to be a tank.. Or maybe... the new R.E. is just not ballanced enough. Either way... It's sad... :-/ PS: I really hope it is just the problem with R.E. than this awesome ship :-)
