[UMW40K] Orax - Vigilance Through Anguish

Description
Important note: Be sure to activate the latest versions of UMW and ASV BEFORE you activate [ASV-3] Orax - Vigilance Through Anguish, or else HORRIBLE THINGS WILL HAPPEN D: -You'll know if you've done it right if the music changes.

4-player Co-op is now available! These missions were designed primarily for singleplayer however, there may be balancing issues with Cooperative play.

It's been a long journey, mostly of you waiting and me procrastinating, but it's finally upon us: the third and final installment of the Orax series, all things have come full circle in this conclusion. Surprisingly, this was also the quickest developed and didn't cost me any internal organs or sanity.

All possible factors were made in order to allow for a complete, non-crashing playthrough, but crashes can still happen, exercise caution based on your potato's settings.

This mission personally has my favorite gameplay- only play on Heroic difficulty if you think "suffering" is an understatement.

This was also slighty more rushed in the mission scripting than the other missions. Do report any bugs, lighting issues, malevolent floating boxes, etc.

Music is about 20% of the storytelling, it is crucial to keep it on... or turn it off, listen to the death crescendo.

One again, all music used will have their names located in the .txt file inside the mods music folder.

Random tips:
  • See those random stacks of black boxes? Take a gander inside of them, even the ones that seem impossible to get too.
  • This mission will teach you that grenades are evil creations.
  • Watch your step.

The First Mission!

The Second Mission!

All in one!
_____________________________________________________________

You can find the list of my planned future content in the collection.

Compiled credits:
  • Conveniently sitting corpses, hanging bodies, and flashlights from older mod versions, which originated from Dark Sintera.
  • VanRaygo for covered bodies.
  • The Dawn of War II: Elite Mod for two portraits.
  • SalvadorTrakal[www.deviantart.com] for the one guardsman image everyone's seen.[www.deviantart.com] (We can discuss his other art later)

Trivia time!
  • This mission was already planned out before the second one was even properly considered.
  • I didn't manage to delete the mod folder in development or have to cut out a massive part of the mission this time, hmpf.
  • More voicelines brought to you by PTSD Simulator 2016™
  • No more random, obnoxious base game voicelines randomly playing.
  • Black Cherry sparkling water is a pinnacle of human invention.
  • Thanks for sticking around for this series!

Strange, if you could please provide a screenshot of the roof exit area and post the link inside the "Bug reports" discussion, it would be of great help.

Unfortunately, after the many patches to this area, I am unable to locate the cause for this issue. Which version of UMW might you be utilizing?

Works now. Also copped me 2.6.1. How very convenient they take the mod down from steam just as I get back to MOWAS.

It appears that UMW was temporarily removed from the workshop, you can either wait for it to return or download it from the ASV Discord server:
https://discord.gg/PXHGXBMn
Furthermore, I have updated the map to hopefully now fix the issue, even with 2.5.0 active.

Curious. How and where do you find UMW/ASV 2.6.1? A quick google search only shows me 2.5.0 from MODDB and the only mention of 2.6.1 I can find is from what appears to be a devlog on a russian version of twitter.
Winters  [author] 24 Apr @ 4:07pm
@Schnitzel
The most recent edition of UMW and ASV is 2.6.1. Since you are using 2.5.0, this would explain the problem, as the most recent updates actually replaced the platform object that allows you to travel downward. However, I will go ahead and redesign the map one more time to allow passage regardless of the platform.

Before I do, what exact mods are you using? If this is a relatively common occurance then maybe its just me and others not having a mod that this mod requires.

I only have ASV mod platform 2.5.0, UMW 40k 2.5.0 (both from moddb since my game crashes if combined with ASV from steam) plus only the Desecration of Orax collection (Decided to download this specific map, disabling the collection and tested it before writing this comment to see if you only updated this but was no difference)

Strange, I could not replicate the issue. However, I have decided to redesign that area to prevent further issue, please unactivate and reactivate the mod to enable the changes. If the issue continues, please post a screenshot in the "Bug reports" discussion.
