Dwarf Mercs [Bretonnian Auxiliaries Update]

Description
DISCLAIMER: While screenshots and unit's cards display the Reikland colour scheme, these units (as shown in the last screenshots) will change their colour scheme depending on which faction they are fighting for.
Also notice that I'm currently using Gigiauz's Uniforms and Heraldry of the Empire mod which should also change the colour schemes a little bit, so if you are on vanilla or you have other mods that actively changes faction colour schemes, expect different results.

This simple mod adds Dwarf mercenaries for the Empire and every other Human faction in the game (check the Extended version of this mod for custom factions support).
I changed a little their appearance to make them a bit different from regular Dwarfs but their stats, when not the same, are balanced for vanilla.
Of course, by being mercenary companies, they are more pricey than their regular Dwarf counterparts.

-Mercenary Dwarf Warriors have the same stats of regular Dwarf Warriors.
-Mercenary Thunderers have the same stats of regular Thunderers.
-Mercenary Thunderers (Great Hammers) are vanilla friendly.
-Mercenary Executioners were created with the idea of making mercenary Slayers-like units, but unlike Slayers, these guys are mercenaries so they should try to stay alive and get paid rather than search a glorious death.
So here's the catch: while they are not fast nor lethal like Slayers they are more tanky and can take more punishment while still doing some decent damage.
I think that their stats are pretty ok and vanilla friendly too.

*10/05/2021 UPDATE*
I assigned these units to Bretonnia under the name of:
-Auxiliary Thunderers (Rifles & Great Hammers)
-Auxiliary Thunderers
-Auxiliary Dwarf Warriors
-Auxiliary Executioners
You will be able to recruit these units through the Bretonnian barracks building chain and smithy chain, you'll also require a tier 3 Bretonnian tavern.
If you want more informations about the update, please take vision of the changelog in the discussion section, thank you.
Ok, presentation over: let's dive into the technical stuff!

*BALANCE*

Their stats are vanilla friendly.
If you think that something should be buffed or nerfed just let me know down in the comment section.
NOTICE: The units' stats screenshot was taken with the unit size setting set to large, so expect more HP and unit models if you are playing on Ultra.

*COMPATIBILITY*

As far as I know this mod works with pretty much everything that do not mess too much with vanilla units.
I'm playing the game with 90+ different mods and everything is working fine!
The mod is NOT save compatible.
If you want these Dwarf Mercs in your campaign you'll have to start a new one.

*KNOWN ISSUES*
-Minor models clipping, especially between a specific part of Master Engineer's bandanas and Dwarf Warrior's helmets, can't do anything about that.
It doesn't look that bad in my opinion so don't gave It too much importance.
Try to think that the ribbon behind their helmets Is some kind of mercenary habit or something like that.

*UPDATES POLICY*

Let me be straight with you...when the mod status change from updated to outdated....if you start to spam in the comment section things like "update pls, OMG UPDATE, can we have an update my good sir?, UpDaTe!1!1!1" and similar stuff....know that https://media.giphy.com/media/e3URFlLQywEPC/giphy.gif

...But jokes aside: please don't do that.
When it becomes necessary, and when I can, I will update my stuff, do not worry.

*QA*

-"Do you plan on adding more units?"
No, I think that we are already fine with these units, plus I would like to NOT add the entire Dwarf roster in the Human one for obvious reasons, thank you.
But if you really think that I should add more units, and if I do find your idea good, I'll think about that.
So let me know down in the comment section, It doesn't hurt to try after all.
I have no intention to add more than two units, though.

-"Are you planning to make submods to cover custom Human factions too?"
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2474388160 Extended edition Is out!

-"Are you planning to make this compatible with X mercenary mod?"
No, I don't use those kind of mods.
But If you are interested and already have experience in submodding, you have my official permission to make said submod, just credit me and we are cool!

-"SFO?"
As a matter of fact I'm officially retired from SFO/Overhaul related mods.
As always: If you already have previous experience in SFO submodding feel free to make an SFO version out of any of my mods that are currently missing one, I will link your submods if you provide me with a link.

And that's all I guess!
Credits time!

Thanks to kophis https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/kophis and his dwarf shotgun prop mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2175090680 that I partially used to mix the Mercenary Thunderers rifles a little bit.
Any of this would not have been possible without Frodo45127's RPFM which is still updated to this very day, thank you!
I would also like to thank Sebidee and Caligula for their great modding guides!
And I would like to thank you!
Whatever you liked my mod or not thanks a bunch for giving it a try!

Let's be brutally honest now: there are countless modders that are WAY more talented than me and that would deserve your money more than me.
That said, If you have grown to like my works so much to the point that you want to express your appreciation or just put a smile on my face...well: I will not stop you ;) .
You have my gratitude for all the support you can throw at me, independently by the donation's sum: you are all equals to me and I do thank you all.
From my part I can assure you that your donations will not be wasted, in fact I would mainly use them to:
-complete the Total War Warhammer DLC collection and thus expand my modding possibilities
-speed up my Warhammer 3 preorder
-PC related things

@Grobby Yes, they are.
If AI Is going to recruit them or not or even spam them It's another story.
Shaabhekh 9 Dec, 2021 @ 1:38pm
Are these fellas recruitable by AI Bret/Emp factions? (wary of them spamming dwarves instead of humans, lol)
