EDIT'S CHANGES
  • Efficiency: Combined Derive, Mark and Designate into Derivation and Designation
  • Instant Casting: The majority of Metasourcery spells can be cast almost instantly now
  • Nexus Entity: A new summon called Summon Nexus Entity that can redirect damage/statuses and mass-teleport
  • Lifeline: Deriving an entity and designating an entity results in HP exchange if enemies or healing if allied
  • Surface Weaponization: Deriving a surface and designating an entity now applies damage/healing/statuses associated with the surface
  • The Gift: Get a Metasourcery Crystal on load/game start if none are in the inventory
  • Surface Erasure: Deriving a surface and designating an entity/surface will erase the surfaces on the derived position
  • Streamlined Enumeration: Enumerate counts 1 for 0 targets, 2 for 1 target and 4 for 2+ targets
  • Multiversal Price: Enumerate-2 Compose damages you for 5% max HP, Enumerate-4 Compose - for 15% max HP
  • Translocation Price: Teleporting an entity with Metasourcery damages you for 8% max HP
  • Clone Purification: Clones now last 1 turn, are stronger, don't use base game buffs and have their equipment purified to balance them
  • Instability Rarity: Rebalanced instability proc chances
  • Creative Chaos: Replaced Infernal Instability with an Instability that spawns 4 random surfaces around you each turn
  • Multiversal Substance: Enumerate-2 Compose spawns 2 surfaces next to you, Enumerate-4 Compose - 4
  • Multiversal Source: Using Lifeline with Enumerate-4 restores 1 Source point to both the Derivation and Designation targets
  • Vital Essence: Deadly Essence now damages the enemy for 10%-40% of YOUR max vitality (based on missing HP) (the damage is still derived)
  • Multistatus Exchange: Afflictology now can be used to take 1/2/4 current statuses away from one entity to another
  • Investment: Innovate now gives 1 AP at the moment of its cast
  • Base Reality: Having no Derive or Designate targets will set them to the caster if used Compose/Delegate/Contingency. Compose will automatically drain 1 AP per Derive/Designate required (so 2AP in all cases but Status Exchange and Death Dealing), but not via Contingency.
  • Virtual Source: Siphon Knowledge Derive Designate Compose now can cast Source spells without crashing or spending Source
  • Default Knowledge: Siphon Knowledge Derive without Designate Compose will auto-Designate the Derived Character
  • Understanding: Siphon Knowledge now displays the siphoned skill name on cast.
  • Dele-DON'T!: Now Delegate costs 2SP, 6AP, 3 Memory and can do EVERYTHING that Compose can
  • Visual Reset: Tweaked some animations, skill names, skill descriptions and VFX
  • Energy Rebalance: Changed the AP/SP costs of skills to better reflect their potency
  • Drawn Power: Now small pieces of the mod scale with Polymorph, Lucky Charm, Loremaster, Telekinesis, Sneaking, Thievery, Bartering and Persuasion (check the patch notes)
+ numerous minor tweaks

EXTRAS

If you have already had a version of Metasourcery before, drop all the Metasoucery crystals and then pick them up again to make this mod work. Otherwise just Use the Mysterious Crystal in your inventory.

This mod is standalone and should be used without other Metasourcery mods for it to work properly.

An amazing weapon for this mod is the Chaos Runeblade from the Weapon Expansion mod. It can absorb surfaces and turn them into weapon buffs, while this mod creates massive numbers of surfaces in combat.

If you intend to test some new interaction, please save first. This mod might in extremely rare and weird circumstances crash the game.

Some interactions are made weird due to them being too strong (like casting Reductio Stabilis on the Nexus Entity).

Can get massive healing by scaling Hydrosophist and Vitality.

Deadly Essence - Compose will damage you heavily if you don't designate a character before Compose, so be careful.

Now the Metasourcery Crystal is always spawned in your inventory if you don't have one on load/game start. Just Right Click and Use it. You need Summoning 1 and Polymorph 1 for the starting spells. You are automatically given new spells when you reach levels 1, 4, 9 and 13 IF you have points in Summoning AND Polymorph AND the Crystal is still in your inventory.
