Description
I introduce the MOAB Space Station! This massive end-game space station has everything a person, or faction, could need!

Designed for Reforged Eden, but also works in vanilla Empyrion! See bottom for details. This base is Size Class 23.

As you approach, the first things you'll notice are the 76 Solar Panels (which generate over 80kW of Power), and 9 Helios docking bays. The docking bays are capable of holding pods, or pod groups, from BOTH versions of the Helios. The Ultimate Production POD Group, and the Three Sea Shells will both dock on this base simultaneously. Additionally, there are 2 large docking bays, for the large Helios Dropships. All of these pods dock directly to an air tight hallway system that brings you to the base, near an entrance.

Next, you'll see the massive landing platform, which measures a whopping ~220 by ~200 meters! This can hold 3-4 combat CV's, plus all of your other utility CV's, HV's, and SV's. It's a ton of space for your entire fleet!. The entire platform does get complete wireless coverage due to the strategically placed locations of extenders.

As you enter the building, you enter directly to level 1. This level has an open floor plan and contains the following:
- Teleporter
- Full Medical Ward
- Personal & Ammo Storage
- Food Storage & Processing (Kitchen Korner)
- Armory
- ATM, Seating, & Oxygen
- Private Bedrooms (Relaxation Station)

On the second level, you'll find the following:
- 30 Hydroponic Bays or
- 270 Grow Plots
- Direct Access Doors to the POD Docking System

The third level will contain:
- 14 Advanced Constructors - 10 in the main room, 4 in an overflow room in the back, near the Pentaxid Tank.
- 20 Small Constructors
- 3 Furnaces
- 4 Deconstructors
- Resource, Ammo, & Cargo Storage
- Generators
- Shield Generator
- Core & CPU Extenders
- Deep Storage Hall Access

The base is setup with a great storage system with plenty of room to grow. It contains 128 total 320k+ container controllers, all of which can be manually accessed if desired! PLUS, all of the Input & Output boxes in the constructor room (furnace & decon included) have been upgraded to 640k storage! About 60 total container controllers & cargo boxes are already labeled for great organization. Plus, over 100 container controllers & cargo boxes are currently unused & available for your needs as you grow. This should be more than you need, but hey, if you need this much space, it's there!

Additionally, this base has 30 total Hydroponic Bays. If you don't have the hydro bays, then you can easily swap in grow plots. If you use grow plots, there are 270 available locations. Regardless of which way you go, it is enough to feed & heal an entire faction. I have the bays currently labeled, and an LCD attached to each. However, feel free to change & adjust as you like. This base does not include the Hydroponic Bays.

No Quantum Needed! That's right, this base is still within CPU limits & does not require any quantums. Since this base generates so much solar power, if placed close to the sun, it will generate more power than it'll ever consume. If you do add a quantum, there are already 3 locations designated, but plenty of space to add as many as you'd like. Alternatively, there are many spots to replace deco blocks with Crew, to give the base a more lively feel.

DEFENSIVE UPGRADE OPTIONS: At the corner of each landing pad, you'll now find 4 mounting points for turrets, each capable of holding 2 turrets. This will allow you to add 32 total turrets to the defense of MOAB. There is room for additional mounts if you choose, however, this would provide plenty of protection against drones. I prefer to defend against drones using a combination of Miniguns, Flak, and Heat Seeking Rockets.

FOR VANILLA EMPYRION:
This can also work on vanilla Empyrion. However, due to CPU cost differences on container controllers, an advanced core is required. When spawning, ensure power is turned off prior to installing the advanced core.

If you love this base, check out the newest version I released to the workshop today, link below. It has more solar and almost all controllers have now been merged to 640k! Take a look & give it a thumbs up!

Some controllers have been increased to 640k. All constructor, furnace, and decon controllers are 640 (inputs & outputs). The pentaxid controller is also 640k. Everything else is still 320k, and I do not plan to merge them in the BP to 640k.

Regarding block limits, that’s a standard setting that many servers do not use, found in the difficulty settings. Anvil is one that does use block limits. Anvil is more RP focused and they like to appease vermillion, which is why they use block limits. Personally, I prefer no limits as it just adds an unnecessary limitation to the game.

If you want it block limit compliant, simply remove some solar panels.

Two questions:
1. with the newer 640k controller capacity, will these already be at 640k or will they need expanding/merging?
2. what server allows such high block limits such as 76 solar panels? Anvil?
If there's a different base you recommend nowadays let me know.

I was flying around the base and I found a room you cant get to thats full of potted plants? what is that room used for?

Not dedicated space. You could flip the furnace upside down & put them on the bottom, where the antennas are.

BP Updated: All of the Input & Output controllers in the production room (Constructor, Furnace, & Decon) have been upgraded to 640k Controllers. This is 11 total controllers that have had their capacity doubled from ~320k to 640k!

BP Updated: Added another room, accessible from the 2nd level farm, for a dedicated Pentaxid Farm. This room holds 12 Pentaxid hydroponic bays. This room uses, I think, the last available space in the station so further additions are unlikely. Enjoy!
