Description
This mod makes Auxiliary Infantry and Auxiliary Cavalry change their appearence during the different periods. At the moment in vannila they Look like imperial troops in the early game. I replace them with other units that change with research. Polybian, Marian and imperial. And I have added roman archers too.

Polybian:
Allied Spearmen
Allied Archers

Marian:
Auxiliary Horsemen
Auxiliary Spearmen
Auxiliary Archers

Imperial:
Auxiliary Infantry (Vannila)
Auxiliary Cavalry (Vannila)
Auxiliary Heavy Archers.

Also in a new update I have added naval units as well.

Assault Biremes for the spearmen.
Missile Triremes and Pursuit Trihemiolia for the archers.

This mod pretty much reskins them by added new units that upgrade to the next with research. Like how you upgrade hastati to legionaries. Allied spearmen will be upgraded to Auxiliary Spearmen and so on.

This is a good mod except that archers were rarely used by Romans at the time. Can you make a new version that simply removes auxiliary archers?

Oh thats great news. I was wondering about the unit cards myself. CA didn't speak about if the unit cards or new UI would be just in the paid DLC or apart of the base game.

Yeah I've looked at that and it should work as it is. There are specific things power and politics needs for unit mods to work in that. But this mod already has that done.

Though I don't know if the unit cards have updated for all units in the base game of Rome 2. And not just in the new expansion.

Lemonater, it would be so terrific if you maintained this mod for the upcoming Power and Politics update. I cant see myself not using your mod
