Description:

The TR3 MOD2 is a slightly upgraded version of the original TR3 found on later Bermuda-class ships (most notably the Sound Mirrors. It has 18 salvoed rocket launchers and a wide arc of fire (depending on how the turret's azimuth rotor is mounted.) Even though it has heavy armor around many components, the TR3 is still fairly fragile and thus will work best in places where shields or some other type of ship protection is common; it was developed for the GrunkWorks(TM) system, one such area.

How to use:

Make sure the spot on your ship where you want to mount this turret is relatively flat and free of obstructions. You may have to first remove some components or armor and add it back later. Just paste this turret's azimuth rotor onto that spot.
The TR3 has groups already set up for both Whip's Turret AI Slaving Script ("TR3 Turret Group") and Whip's Weapon Salvo Script ("TR3 Salvo Group"), both by Whiplash141. All designator turrets used will need to be added to the "TR3 Turret Group", since this blueprint doesn't include them, but other than that no additional setup is required.

My thumbnail was made with the Green Screen skybox and some editing in paint dot net; the awesome logo is courtesy of Paralix (ty soooo much!). Non-server screenshots use Realistic Skybox and Apothilight, plus some FOV tweaking (nvidia ansel i loooove u)
