Terraquest - Hunt of the Seven

Description
THE SEQUEL IS FINALLY OUT!!!! GO PLAY IT: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3249526546

To honor the legacy of this amazing game, I have turned the entirety of the pre-hardmode progression system into an adventure map. Explore a huge, sprawling world filled with dungeons, structures, secrets, and surprises! The map features seven unique stylized dungeons themed around every pre-hardmode boss, plus a secret dungeon for the wary explorer to discover. So what are you waiting for? Dive right into to this expansive adventure!

LORE:
-157th dawn. West Terraria - C.E.

The land of Terraria is vast and mighty. Towering mountains, winding rivers, and great deserts dot the expanse. The land is ruled over by one king, the kingdom located at the center of the land. Terraria is divided into several provinces, each with many sights to see and much to explore. You are a brave knight to the king, the most trusted of his order. Recently, reports have said that evil is stirring in the western province of this land. The king is concerned that this evil may spread, infecting the rest of this pure land with darkness. So he sent you on a quest to vanquish seven great and terrible beasts, which harbor much of the darkness in the western province.

One in the depths of a wooded forest...
One among the peaks of snowy mountains...
One beneath a corrupt valley...
One dwelling beneath the desert sands...
One nesting within a sprawling jungle...
One deep within the shadows of death...
And finally, one at the fiery center of the world.

Hopefully, destroying the seven will cause the evil to cease, making Terraria pure once again. After a week of travelling, you finally arrive in the humble town of Westwood, the capital of the western province. The night is stormy and dark as you stumble into an inn near the center of the town. You collapse into bed and drift into sleep. You have a great journey ahead, hero. Once you awaken on this next day, your adventure shall begin...

RULES (PLEASE READ):
1. You must create a new Journey mode character. Trash all starting items upon arrival into the world. You are only allowed to use the following journey powers under these circumstances:
-You may set the time to night if awaiting a nighttime boss fight (EoC or Skeletron)
-You may adjust the enemy difficulty slider as you please at any time.
-You may forward time to get the Guide or Old Man to respawn, in the case of the Skeletron and WoF fight.
All other Journey powers are restricted. You MAY NOT use them.

2. Choose a difficulty, and set the enemy difficulty slider in the Journey mode menu.

3. It is illegal to take clothes off mannequins and items out of item frames. Don't do it.

4. Obey all signs and markers.

5. Dialogue is activated with green switches (the 1 x 1 ones, not levers). If there are multiple switches, a sign may tell you which way to activate them.

6. Dungeon entrances exist in the background. They are usually a dark doorway or passage. Stand in front of the darkness, and move until your character is hovering above the ground (you are standing on a concealed teleporter) Then, move your cursor around the shadow background until a lever icon appears. Then, click, and you will be transported into the dungeon. The pressure plate is usually in the center of the doorway, and the lever is above the pressure plate.

7. Only take what you need. When looting a chest with 4 life and mana crystals, only use ONE of each crystal unless you are playing in multiplayer, where one player gets a crystal each. Using mana crystals is optional. The extra supplies/weapons are for multiplayer. Up to 4 players are supported.

8. Most importantly, have fun!

*To get a better experience, I recommend setting Zoom to 100% the the game settings.

@Catter the Walt I have since moved on from this project so sadly I don't think I'll be able to produce any guide videos of the sort. But the best advice I can give is to build the layout yourself manually, make sure there's cool puzzles and it's fun to play through, and then use TEdit to fill in all the walls, outside space, and some unplaceable tiles like temple doors. I'm glad you are inspired by them!
