Description


What does this mod do?

Star Crafter's Armory aims to bring into Rimworld the futuristic weapons and armors of the Starcraft universe without contradicting previously established lore or the vanilla art-style, keeping the sense of immersion alive while providing some extra early spacer tech equipment.

So in a nutshell, you can expect gun and armor to be added into your early spacer experience.













W.I.P (there are 3 other armors: CMC-300 (done), CMC-405 (done) and CMC-600, currently in game, but their textures are being updated)



Will/Can you add X thing into the mod?
This Mod's development is halted due to real life. I'll try to keep it patched.

Compatibility with X mod?
I'm new to modding in Rimworld, and to be honest, I'm more of an artist than a coder, so when it comes to stuff like compatibility with another more popular mods, they are far back on my list of things to do.
Currently the mod is not compatible with Combat Extended.

@UshioNoa REAL, I'm BEGGING for a 1.6 update. It's got so much potential to the next biggest hit on the Workshop! I could totally make a Battlecruiser base for my Gravship!

I'm praying for this mod to come back and be developed further, especially with the recent additions of both a Siege Tank and Vulture. It'd be just what the Rimworld needs! It makes me so sad to have seen it come out, use it, and then have it be left on the shelf, especially with the removal of the Firebat armour that came with the Flamethrowers.

Theres a couple of lines you can add to the stat offsets of the armors to make them exo capable in terms of SOS2.
<HypoxiaResistance MayRequire="kentington.saveourship2">1</HypoxiaResistance>
<DecompressionResistance MayRequire="kentington.saveourship2">1</DecompressionResistance>
<VacuumSpeedMultiplier MayRequire="kentington.saveourship2">4</VacuumSpeedMultiplier>
but if you have SOS2 you can just look at the thingdef_misc apparel space.
