Pip Plant Overlay

Description
Adds an overlay showing the locations where Pips can plant Seeds, and providing reasons for the locations where they cannot.

Features
  • Adds a new overlay which color codes map locations where Pips can plant Seeds.
  • Hovering over an area will highlight the Plants that are within the detection radius of a Pip trying to plant there.
  • Note that each Seed has vertical space and temperature requirements which must also be satisfied to be planted.

This mod is compatible with Simpler Pip Plant Overlay. If the planting radius is changed using that mod, the Pip Planting overlay will update to match.

Does this mod take into account the changes introduced by "Simpler Pip Plant Rule (Vanilla/DLC)" ? Or does it depend on the sequence of laoding?

@ Etrit They grow slower yes, but they don't take any resources, i grow arbor trees... a lot of them, to provide most of the oxygen of a satellite colony. And you can also plant decorative plants to get natural reserves/parks.

For some reason, the overlay doesn't appear in my list of overlays... must be a mod conflict

This works great, but Pip planting is STILL complicated and honestly just not worth it for growing crops.... unless you're ok with having to plant A LOT of plants and taking up tons of space.

Wild crops grow slower then farmed crops.
