HiTech Bed

Description
Based on the HiCan concept by Hi-Interiors, this environment includes a 70+ inch (diagonal) projection on a built-in screen at the foot of a cocoon-like bed, which is great for binging shows or playing video games in your own quiet sanctuary away from the rest of the home (virtual or real). This particular environment is especially comfortable and more immersive when accessed while lounging on a couch (my preferred Virtual Desktop experience), recliner, or in bed with a few pillows propping you up.

This version of the HiTech Bed environment is well-lit by ceiling, table, and built-in bed lights, giving the room a more energetic atmosphere. I have also created a version with all of those lights turned off, which feels a lot calmer (link below).

A nighttime version with is also available.

I have a recurring ajb1978 problem when I tilt my head forward a little. 1080p monitor, Quest 2

ajb1978, I haven't been able to reproduce the clipping, but will look into the model and see if I can figure out what is causing it. I'm guessing it has something to do with the geometry behind the screen (part of the bed itself), but it might be any number of things (type of HMD, resolution of your main monitor being projected, etc.)

I have another "HiTech Bed" model and environment that I will be uploading shortly. It's possible that one will give you less trouble since it is more of a canopy bed than such a solid structure.

The top quarter of the display still clips when I tilt my head slightly up to look at it. If I keep my head completely neutral or pointed downward, then the whole display appears, but it's a rather awkward way to view something having to keep my head straight and look up with my eyes, vs. slightly inclining my head and looking straight.

Thank you for the feedback! I have updated the environment, which should fix the screen clipping issues that some users reported. Originally, I had a “projected image” plane that was separate from the screen model itself. Now, the projected image is a cut-out section of the screen model with nothing immediately behind it.

I never experienced the issue on my side, so please let me know.

The display keeps clipping through the bed. On 21:9 3440x1440 that is
