Custom Shipyards

Description
MOD ID: 2502182917

[IMPORTANT: This mod is discontinued and will no longer receive updates or support. It is confirmed working as of patch v560.3]

The Only Shipyards You Will Ever Need!
  • Ability to craft vanilla ships, modular ships, and ships from other mods in it. Can craft ALL ships in the Custom Large Shipyard.
  • No gold cost to craft.
  • Return already built ships back to dry dock to allow easier parts replacement and quick ship dismantling.
  • Includes snap points for easy placement alignment. Can also freely pick up and paint.
  • Customize max level of ships crafted in quality shipyards, and level crafted in common shipyards.
  • View what level ships can be crafted from the shipyard radial menu.
  • Convert vanilla (basic, small, advanced, and large) and AS shipyards (precrafted and blueprints) into Custom Shipyards.
  • Admin spawn only token that increases the ship quality of existing ships to 200% as if they were crafted in a max quality shipyard. Also works on previously built ships already 200% quality to refresh their max level (cheat gfi primalitem_shipqualitytoken_cs 1 0 0).
  • Custom Shipyards are craftable in the smithy, and the Custom Shipyards Converter is craftable in your inventory and the smithy.
  • This mod remaps the vanilla large and small shipyards into Custom Shipyards, and therefore MUST be loaded before any other mod that also remaps the vanilla shipyards if you want quality Custom Shipyards to drop as loot.

Default Setting (can all be changed through the configs)
  • Added ability to craft modular ships in the Custom Small Shipyard and Custom Large Shipyard, as well as the ability to craft small ships in the Custom Large Shipyard.
  • Ships can level up to 100 if crafted in a max quality shipyards (225%+ durability). Ships crafted in a common (100% durability) shipyard will level to 50.
  • Can return ships to dry dock.
  • Can snap to foundations and allow foundations to snap to it (at the two main stairs). Also includes a ceiling snap point at the top of the main stairs.
  • Allows no placement collision on servers with that setting enabled.

Optional Settings

These settings are disabled by default, but they can be enabled through the config settings (section below this one).
  • Improve ship quality when dry docked in a higher quality shipyard.
  • Dismantle dry docked ships. Three options available: demolish, pickup, and convert.
  • Get a dismantle token when a dry docked ship is dismantled. These tokens can be used on another ship to improve quality and add experience.

Customization Through Configs

Add any of the following configs under the [CustomShipyards] header in your GameUserSettings.ini file (just add it at the bottom of the file). For single player, can be found at \Steam\steamapps\common\ATLAS\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor.

Modify Max Ship Level in Quality Shipyards

Change the number to your desired ship level in max quality shipyards. If going over level 100, you MUST to use a custom xp leveling ramp, or your higher quality ships will not gain the levels they are supposed to. Guide/example level ramp can be seen HERE
MaxShipLevel=100

Modify Minimum Ship Level

Change the number to your desired ship level when crafted in a common (100% durability) shipyard:
MinShipLevel=50

Remove Modular Ships

Remove the ability to craft modular ships in the Custom Shipyards:
NoModularShips=True

Remove Vanilla Ships from Custom Shipyards

Add Modded Ships to Shipyard:

Use this to be able to craft ships from other mods in the Custom Shipyards. You can see further detail in the discussion post HERE.

Ship Dismantling: Demolish

Allows demolishing all attached structures on the drydocked ship, and place the materials gained inside the shipyard inventory. Will provide the option to keep the frame or do a full demolish of everything.

This will allow picking up all attached structures on the drydocked ship, and place them inside the shipyard inventory. Will provide the option to keep the frame or demolish the frame.

Ship Dismantling: Convert

This will allow converting attached ship structures on the drydocked ship, and place them inside the shipyard inventory. Can set up to convert either from AS (Atlas Shipwright mod) to vanilla or from vanilla to AS. Structures that do not have a counterpart will be picked up instead. Must also use the ShipDismantlingConvertSettings config. This setting also allows the Custom Shipyards Converter to convert ship parts/blueprints.
AllowShipDismantlingConvert=True

Ship Dismantling Convert Settings

This setting is used to specify what you are converting to with the AllowShipDismantlingConvert config. Two options are available: AS to Vanilla OR Vanilla to AS. Pick one or the other, not both.
ShipDismantlingConvertSettings=Vanilla to AS ShipDismantlingConvertSettings=AS to Vanilla

Ship Dismantling Tokens
