Item Grinder

Description
MOD ID: 2665169680

[IMPORTANT: This mod is discontinued and will no longer receive updates or support. It is confirmed working as of patch v560.3]

Grind up old useless items to gain back resources.

Fully configurable, so set it up exactly how you want it. Adds a structure that will recycle items and give back a portion of their base crafting resources (what it would cost to craft a common version of the item). Blueprint grinding is also an option available, but must be enabled through the configs first.

Item Grinding

By default, gives back 50% of their base crafting resources.

Higher quality items have a greater chance of giving back a unique resource instead of a base/generic one (example: silk instead of generic fiber etc):

Quality
Percent Chance
Common
0%
Fine
10%
Journeyman
20%
Masterwork
30%
Legendary
40%
Mythical +
50%

(Please note, if an item has a base gold cost to craft it, you will not receive any gold back from grinding it)

Blueprint Grinding

Common through Legendary quality blueprints when grinded give back a small portion of gold (see table below for default values). Mythical/Timeworn blueprints give a portion of the mythos used to craft 1 item (default is 5% with a cap of 50 mythos)

Quality
Items Received
Common
5g
Fine
10g
Journeyman
15g
Masterwork
20g
Legendary
25g
Mythical +
5% up to 50 mythos

Configurable Options

Add to your GameUserSettings.ini file under the header [ItemGrinder]. You only need to add the lines for the ones you are changing from default. (/Steam/steamapps/common/ATLAS/ShooterGame/Saved/Config/WindowsNoEditor)

Default:
BaseResourceMultiplier=0.5 UniqueResourceChanceMultiplier=1.0 UniqueChanceAllMats=False AllowBlueprintGrinding=False BlueprintGoldMultiplier=1.0 BlueprintMythosPercent=0.05 BlueprintMythosMax=50

To change the amount of resources gained back from grinding an item. Default is 50%:
BaseResourceMultiplier=0.5

To change the chance an item has of receieving a unique resource instead of a base/generic resource. This will multiply the default chance shown in the graph. Must be above 0 and no higher than 2. Setting it to 2 will set mythical/timeworn items to 100% chance for a unique resource etc:
UniqueResourceChanceMultiplier=1.0

When an item successfully rolls to get a unique resource instead of all base/generic resources, it only changes one of the resources to unique. To have all the resources gained from that item be unique use:
UniqueChanceAllMats=True

To allow blueprint grinding:
AllowBlueprintGrinding=True

To modify the amount of gold received when grinding common - legendary blueprints. Will multiply the amount shown in the table above:
BlueprintGoldMultiplier=1.0

To modify the percent amount of mythos gained from a mythical/timeworn blueprint. Default is 5% of the mythos needed to craft that item:
BlueprintMythosPercent=0.05

To modify the max amount of mythos you can gain per mythical/timeworn blueprint:
BlueprintMythosMax=50
