Description
The Megalodon is a heavy gunship, featuring:

-12.7mm Gatling Gun, firing at an incredible rate of 2400 RPM with an internal feeding system of 250 rounds
-20cm Anti-Infantry Rockets
-Elite Bombs, patented with unique Military Industries technology
-Heavy Weight Lifting Claw, designed to lift easily anything under 2500 kilograms
-Exclusive use of Mega Metal T-2, a new material patented by Military Industries, offering better protection than regular gunships
-Large hatches for up to two soldiers to shoot outside
-Ethereal Transporting Tech, allowing the Megalodon to recover it's ammunition after it's depleted
-Escape Pod*, for your pilot to be safely ejected with the Enforcer, an auxiliary firearm


*There still isn't a Escape Pod, it will be created later.

User Manual included inside mod, please check it to avoid misunderstandings.

Hello!

Upon acquiring our catalog, we have also provided you with an user's guide.
This should help you on understanding and using our products.

////////////////1.- MOVEMENT

Movement is done using the W,A,S and D keys, to move Up, Left, Down and Right, respectively.
This gunship was designed to hover for better control of weaponry; even though, it can reach
very high speeds while moving horizontally.
While moving, you will disengage the zoomed optics; hover staticly to recover your aim.


////////////////2.- BOARDING

If you order the Megalodon with a soldier inside (Note how the soldier must be THE FIRST ITEM
on the buying list), he will stand on the hatch with only one of the weapons he was ordered with.

Any other bought item on the Megalodon WON'T BE ABLE TO GET OUT OF IT UNLESS IT IS DESTROYED.
We recommend you to order this gunship empty or only with one soldier equipped with one weapon.

To get out of the craft, select the actor and press the F key.
To get inside, hover at less than 120 PXs from gound, select an actor directly under it and press
the F key. Up to two soldiers can get inside.


////////////////3.- WEAPONS

The Megalodon comes equipped with three different weapons, which reload independently when they
are out of ammunition.


//////////////////////3.1 - GATLING GUN

The Gatling Gun has 250 12.7mm rounds.
Aim with the mouse and use the left mouse button to activate.
It must wind up before it can fire.


//////////////////////3.2- ROCKETS

The Rockets are aimed with the mouse, and are fired with the R key.


//////////////////////3.3- BOMBS

Hold down the F key to drop the bombs. While it's pressed, your optics will show you the area
directly below the Megalodon.



////////////////4.- CLAW

The Claw is activated with the C key.
While active, your optics will direct to it.
Upon grabbing something, the optics will be redirected to the ship.
While C is held down, scroll up/down with the mouse wheel to retract/detract the claw.

The Claw has many emergency mechanism to prevent game crashes; when it happens, a message
will appear on the lua console and the rope will get cut.

This Gunship DOESN'T FEATURE ANY KIND OF AI!!

If you mean faction for the campaign no, he doesn't. If you want to enable him as a standalone purchasable body you can find his code and add the line Buyable = 1.

I have another mod here in steam, and both are kind of old (~2012) and those were the last "real mods" I made, since then only small random projects to mess around. I have a few more small mods in the official Data Realms Fan Forums (everything should work as far as I know).

I really doubt I'd make more mods because it's rather time consuming, and also because I can't sprite at all, so things that I can do limiting myself to scripts end up being small things.

Lol, glad you like it! I really feel in debt with this mod, gotta make a huge revisit to all of it eventually but time hasn't been on my side for quite a while now.
