Description
This mod aims to expand upon Forts' weapon selection while at least maintaining a somewhat-vanilla feel. Requires Tons of Guns to be enabled to work properly.

NOTICE: This mod is currently a work-in-progress. Everything currently in it is subject to change!

At its current state, Tons More Guns adds:

  • Support Hub: a new tier 1 (equal to the Workshop and Armoury) tech that unlocks the new tier 1 weapons in this mod.

  • Repair Gun: a unique 'weapon' that specializes in helping teammates by healing them.

  • Flamethrower: a fire-based weapon that spews a stream of flame that excels at turning bracing into ash. Also capable of destroying shields.

  • ERK: the upgrade of the Repair Gun, capable of allowing any Fort within its projectile's area of effect to tank hits without worrying about repairs.

  • Slag Shot: the upgrade to the Flamethrower, fires a slow-traveling but deadly ball of molten slag that periodically ejects flaming fragments. The slag ball is capable of being shot down, treat it like a weaker incendiary howitzer that can also carpet-bomb.

  • Missile Facility: a new tier 2 (equal to Munitions and Factory) tech that unlocks the new tier 2 weapons in this mod.

  • Thermal Rockets: a burst-fire, rocket-based weapon that launches small swarms of incendiary rockets that punish woodspam but is entirely countered by exposed armor.

  • Artillery Missile: a triple-shot mortar-like weapon that fires missiles that are affected by gravity, raining death from above.

Weapons added with Moonshot (make sure there is at least 1 Moonshot weapon enabled, otherwise these weapons will not appear!)

  • Skewer: Upgraded Buzzsaw that fires a projectile the fragments into shrapnel upon hitting a surface, tearing apart to any undefended devices and weapons.

  • Electric Smoke Bomb: The upgrade to the smoke bomb, adds a damaging electric field that periodically emps and damages anything inside the smoke.

  • Charge Bomb: A new weapon for the Missile Facility that must be placed in the ground like swarm or warhead silos. Cheap to fire at first, but practically just a distraction. The catch is that it gains in power, flight speed, and cost with each time it is fired.

  • Particle Wall: a defensive weapon that launches 3 projectiles that burst into one mobile shield each.

  • L.A.A.S.: the upgrade of the Shield Gun, a laser-based manual anti-air weapon that excels at shutting down missiles and rockets. Can also briefly shut down areas of the enemy's base.

Planned additions include:

  • Rework of the majority of the added Moonshot weapons, some of the Moonshot additions are being removed!

  • New Weapons/Ammo for High Seas DLC, including: a new upgrade branch for the Hardpoint, Runway ammo, and at least one new multi-tech weapon. This is what's taking the next update so damn long

  • Repair Launcher and E.R.K are being ported over into High Seas arsenal as a Harpoon ammo type, new weapons capable of dealing damage is replacing them in the vanilla arsenal.

  • Actual unique textures instead of just reused and slightly edited ones

At its current state, assets in Tons More Guns are free to copy. Just don't copy-and-paste the entire mod.
