Description
For Entre-Deux I took inspiration from tropical volcanic islands, especially Réunion, a french overseas department in the Indian Ocean. Here you will find dense forests, canyons and beaches.

With the following I am trying to self-evaluate my map, hopefully making it easier for you to know what to expect. I am mainly comparing with my other own maps, not so much with what else is on the workshop.

Difficulty:
Beginner |-----O----| Expert
Suitable area for building: 49%. Most of the building space is quite flat on a small scale. However, the entire shore is slightly sloped. The building space is divided by deep canyons. Resources partly used for painting but are accessible. All outside connections available.

Level of Detailing:

A few feature areas with higher detailing but still a lot of room for you to add detail.
Trees: ~391,000. Unlimited Trees Mod will be needed! Only low-poly trees were used.

Nodes and intersections were edited with Intersection Marking tool and Node Controller Renewal.
If you happen to have those two mods activated, the nodes will look like in the last picture. No specific country-style used – I kind of mixed several styles, can be changed easily. The mods are not required to play the map. If you want the functionality to meet the visuals, you will need to connect the lanes with Traffic Manager.
I used those mods for the first time in Map Editor – I hope it works alright!

I aimed to get rid of DLC and NExt dependencies, so I used a popular road network from the workshop. Thanks to the awesome RON Network Replacer, the choice of road is not so important anymore for map creators. You can change any road yourself with just a few clicks. The missing assets (Loading Screen Mod) come from that road. You can subscribe to them if you like to. The map will work fine without them though.

@tiger_bythe_tail same for me now too, it worked once.
I've tried tonnes to swing around it but no success. best map I've found so far and cant use it.

The map is broken for me. It loads with error codes that won't go away and a bank account that's already more than $55 Million in debt and I haven't even placed a road

This is a beautiful map! However I had to change a couple of the intersections that start on the map quite significantly. The first is there is a spaghetti intersection in the center. I added a standard pinwheel but really any clean intersection such as turbine or ITL would work.

The second is there is a gorgeous interchange to the starting area. (Is there a copy of it on the workshop?) However, there is a copy of it to the east outside of most buildable areas. I was having backup off the map from a national highway that used the back side of the interchange. I couldnt get my traffic above low 60s until I fixed this spot. I added a proper roundabout to make it a more standard dumbbell interchange and handle the flow easily.

Excellent Work. Lots of room to explore and try new things. Works fine with 81 Tiles (at least for me).

@Rehwyn I assume there is some conflict with another mod. I am testing and playing all my maps with 81 Tiles myself and there was no problem so far. Try disabling all other mods and keep only 81 Tiles, then you will know if something is interfering and can start the search for the culprit.

Great looking map! However, has anyone else been able to use this map with 81 Tiles? It seems to crash any time I try to load the map with 81 Tiles activated (either from a save or a new city). If I disable 81 Tiles and keep all my other mods the same the map loads fine. It might be a different mod interacting with 81 Tiles and this map, but if so I haven't been able to narrow it down.

This map has some potential for some really big builds, but still has tons of terrain and natural features that will be sure to stand out and define any city. Awesome work here! Love the dry river beds and settled rock slides in the hills! This map was definitely made with love.
