Description
Arma 3 Custom Campaign: Conquer. Control. Collapse.
Conquer: Unknown forces have started attacking and conquering cities and towns on chernarus.

Control: Unknown forces now have total control over chernarus.

Collapse: US forces on Chernarus has to retreat back to Altis, then take the fight to the unknown forces to collapse their regime and end the war.

Conquer Mission 2: Chernogorsk Crossing

Summary: Chernarussian forces are engaging unknown forces in Chernogorsk, US forces stationed at an airbase near Chernogorsk decided to send a detachement their to attack the unknown forces.

Version 1.12 Changes:
-increase trigger radius on Chernogorsk Crossing, so it will be more likely to be triggered.
-Add map markers to display the aproximate location of the AA you need to destroy
-In Acceptable Losses, I changed it up so you are no longer a passenger in the humvee and you will be the driver.
-in Acceptable Losses, I have fixed it so the Colonel has the correct name (before it was a random name)
-in Last Stand, I have also fixed it so that both the Colonel and the Intro Sargeat has the correct names.
-In Last Stand, I fixed it so the helicopter should land now.
-In Last Stand, I added another rifle squad so that the US forces were not overun and killed off too soon.

Instructions:
Place the .pbo in the campaigns folder inside arma 3, if there isn't one create one.

After an unknown amount of restarts I managed to get to the AA in one sitting.
Sadly the evac heli never arrived. I walked back to base on foot, taking out a few hostiles on the way. Once I got back to base, the helicopter was shot down by an IFRIT. The base personell had taken care of the IFRIT and its crew, but the heli was destroyed.

BTW, sorry for the sapm, can't edit messaged to add more info :/
I'll ENDMISSION on this one and carry on with the rest of the campaign :)

I think I have figured out why the anti air doesn't "spawn".
I've played through the mission several times in the editor, and everytime I have died and had to load an autosave the AA fail to turn visible.
Why this is happening I am not sure though, but that's at least the theory that have proven correct over 6 playthroughs.
I am guessing some script variables are not saved as the game saves(and retrieved when it loads that save), and that those are needed to turn the AA visible.

Retried the mission a few times. Got the "4 fps issue" once, so had to revert.
Never got the anti air to spawn though.

Disregard the tank part in the previous comment.
Turns out I had forgotten to add CBA to the list. Also added bCombat.
Tanks are now moving and engaging each other as they should.
Infantry even shoot rockets at them.

I did encounter a problem where the anti air was no where to be found though.
I flanked right with the cars, up the mountainside to the north, while sending troops through the forest to the south. Guess I might have missed a trigger by not going along the road?

Also, if you mount the helicopter as a door gunner, they won't land. Just hover for a while, then fly straight out to sea.

I'll give it a few more shots and see if I can get the anti air to spawn.

Feedback on strange things:

The first time I played the mission I got hit(not killed) before coming out of the intro screen when playing as russian in the start.
When starting as US soldier, the pilots repeat "Move up" and "Move back".
When getting dropped off in the city, the framerate dropped to 4 (from 25) as soon as the second heli hit the ground. Reload did not help. Restart did however.
I managed to hijack the helicopter and fly it in myself, that seemed to work.

Couldn't get past the "clear hostiles" task, due to all the tanks and AI on my team that wouldn't take the shot.
I did manage to shoot some AT infantry and steal their tubes and rockets.
It wasn't enough to kill all the tanks in the area of course, but it helped.
By this time all of my team were killed, except one guy.
The tank at the docks doesn't engage the hostile tanks, but it is "active", it just stays still.

This is how far I got. Will probably try again since I think I might be missing something.

i have another concern, for some reason when i activate the exfil task, the extraction helicopter slides and blows up before it can take off and pick me up. In other words, i cant finish the mission and move on. :/

Are you by any chance able to tell me the exact coordinates of the trigger? I've scoured the entire map and still have not found the trigger that makes the AA's appear.

you have to land exactly where indicated task to be included?
where are the AA guns?
I've played 3 times and never found the gun AA, any suggestions
I play in campaigns.:AAF:
