After an unknown amount of restarts I managed to get to the AA in one sitting.
Sadly the evac heli never arrived. I walked back to base on foot, taking out a few hostiles on the way. Once I got back to base, the helicopter was shot down by an IFRIT. The base personell had taken care of the IFRIT and its crew, but the heli was destroyed.

I'll ENDMISSION on this one and carry on with the rest of the campaign :)

I think I have figured out why the anti air doesn't "spawn".
I've played through the mission several times in the editor, and everytime I have died and had to load an autosave the AA fail to turn visible.
Why this is happening I am not sure though, but that's at least the theory that have proven correct over 6 playthroughs.
I am guessing some script variables are not saved as the game saves(and retrieved when it loads that save), and that those are needed to turn the AA visible.

Retried the mission a few times. Got the "4 fps issue" once, so had to revert.
Never got the anti air to spawn though.

Disregard the tank part in the previous comment.
Turns out I had forgotten to add CBA to the list. Also added bCombat.
Tanks are now moving and engaging each other as they should.
Infantry even shoot rockets at them.

I did encounter a problem where the anti air was no where to be found though.
I flanked right with the cars, up the mountainside to the north, while sending troops through the forest to the south. Guess I might have missed a trigger by not going along the road?

Also, if you mount the helicopter as a door gunner, they won't land. Just hover for a while, then fly straight out to sea.

I'll give it a few more shots and see if I can get the anti air to spawn.

Feedback on strange things:

The first time I played the mission I got hit(not killed) before coming out of the intro screen when playing as russian in the start.
When starting as US soldier, the pilots repeat "Move up" and "Move back".
When getting dropped off in the city, the framerate dropped to 4 (from 25) as soon as the second heli hit the ground. Reload did not help. Restart did however.
I managed to hijack the helicopter and fly it in myself, that seemed to work.

Couldn't get past the "clear hostiles" task, due to all the tanks and AI on my team that wouldn't take the shot.
I did manage to shoot some AT infantry and steal their tubes and rockets.
It wasn't enough to kill all the tanks in the area of course, but it helped.
By this time all of my team were killed, except one guy.
The tank at the docks doesn't engage the hostile tanks, but it is "active", it just stays still.

This is how far I got. Will probably try again since I think I might be missing something.

i have another concern, for some reason when i activate the exfil task, the extraction helicopter slides and blows up before it can take off and pick me up. In other words, i cant finish the mission and move on. :/

Are you by any chance able to tell me the exact coordinates of the trigger? I've scoured the entire map and still have not found the trigger that makes the AA's appear.

you have to land exactly where indicated task to be included?
where are the AA guns?
I've played 3 times and never found the gun AA, any suggestions

Paying this mission in the campaign. Everytime I try it, the AA never spawn. What is the trigger? Otherwise, enjoying the campaign very much, but to get past this mission. (Conquer - v1.13)

GigaS, as you can see I even updated this mission and uploaded the updated campaign file as well. There will be markers now detailing aproximatly where the AAs will be, and they should be there and I even made the trigger a bit bigger so that it should definatly be triggered to make the AAs visable.

Only thing I can think of is maybe you missed a trigger somewhere, I have it so when you enter a trigger it will make the AA's visable - since when the mission first starts out they are hidden.

What I may be able to do is change the trigger to make it bigger and possibly have it closer to where you link up with those humvees.

Hey @Panicsferd, I can't seem to find the AA units i need to destroy. Any hints? I looked around the entire town multiple times. Also just some feedback, the chat needs more of a delay. The chat goes through way to quickly where i cannot read it throughly before the next text comes through. I am playing the campaign file. Thanks for your hard work on these so far so great

I think what you may have to do is wait until the bird completly lands and shuts off it's engine, then you can order your squad to board it. Then once your squad is fully aboard the helicopter you may board it yourself.

Great mission, much longer than 1st and i luv story of campagin and that you used those mods. Only issue i had was with evac helo: it landed after i ordered my squad to board it but then except rtb it made circle and landed in same place i boarded, so i get out and in but same thing happend again.
