LARRY'S MOD ONLY SORTS THE MAP INTO A FOLDER ON THE MAIN MENU

An updated version of LM_TTT_TANKER that no longer depends on another game to be installed.

A faithful recreation of the Tanker from Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.
Includes: Decks A - E, the crow's nest, and the Engine Room.

Functions as a Trouble in Terrorist Town map, along with the Larry's Mod twist to TTT that allows javascript:ValidateForm()for the round to be won outside of the standard gamemode functions.

[GENERAL FUNCTIONS]

-30+ player spawns

-Loading zone style level design (using teleports)

[TTT FUNCTIONS]

-TRAITOR OBJECTIVE: TRAITORS CAN WIN NON-LETHALLY by gaining access to Deck-2 from the Portside Engine Room. To do this they must repair the door below the Crew's Lounge using a repair kit that is assembled on the Portside of the aft deck (where olga is located in MGS2) It can then be dropped into a transport container to easily transport it to Deck-A. If that sounds to hard just win using the usual method.
-INNOCENT OBJECTIVE: n/a. Win using the usual method.

[TTT LORE] There is alot of ambiguity as to what happened on that Manhattan tanker in 2007. We were only able to figure out that there was about 16+1 terrorists present, including the legendary Solid Snake. Nobody knows quite how he infiltrated the ship. The terrorists objective was to secure Metal Gear Ray from the Marine tanker. Solid Snake's was to photograph Metal Gear Ray and prove it's existence to the world. As part of your VR training in espionage deception and identification of espionage and deception you will participate in a reinterpretation of the Tanker Events alongside your comrades.

THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN CHANGED FROM THE ORIGINAL MAP

- removed CS:GO dependency (quality of life)
- changed the name to discovery (so it doesn't replace the old map file)
- general decoration and visual overhaul (quality of life)
- large props made indestructible (to match the original level design)
- overall darker lighting (stylistic choice)
- lockers now have vents players can look through (quality of life) (to match the original level design)
- certain lights cast dynamic shadows using projected textures (stylistic choice) (to match the original level design) rations replaced with healthkits (done because I learned to bypass the TTT item ban by using item spawners, thus allowing the removal of the buggy unoptimized healing system from the first version of the map; tldr: quality of life)
- alarm now operates on a timer that deactivates from 2 minutes of inactivity (quality of life)
- alert soundtrack altered from standard tanker alert to MGS2 Unreleased Tanker Alert: Beta (stylistic choice)
- npcs replaced with ragdolls of hostages (to match the original level design)
- rain on the aft deck (stylistic choice) (to match the original level design)
- lightning now visible from interior windows (quality of life)
- lightning shakes player camera when standing outside the boat (stylistic choice)
- skybox creates the illusion that the boat is moving down the manhattan harbor (to match the original level design)
- manhattan no longer uses a sky texture and is simply dark (stylistic choice)
- exterior of boat now mostly inside skybox (saves on resources)
- camera now present in the dining hall (to match the original level design)
- no more spawn points on the aft deck (done to prevent players from accessing the repair kit in the prepround [TTT])
- the bridge now operates as a more functional headquarters including a map of the boat that lights up when alarms go off, and a surveillance system that cycles between the cameras (quality of life)
- Deck-D transport boxes removed (since rations removed entirely, and player consumables don't travel through teleporters)
- Crew lounge radio removed (due to it being a small CS:GO asset radio prop)
- [TTT] items in lockers replaced with supply crates (to prevent players from grabbing items without opening the locker)
- [TTT] random weapon spawns removed entirely (to prevent players from obtaining 1-shot weapons in the prepround)
- [TTT] certain lockers and doors are locked off until the prep round is over
- [TTT] shotguns, rifles and deagles placed behind said temporary inaccessible areas
- [TTT] traitor traps have been removed (This was done because I lost access to the helicopter model and the switchbox due to the dependent assets, and I need some time to think of creative traps)
- [TTT] traitor weapon spawns have been removed
- [TTT] map playermodel swapped from arctic to gasmask (felt closer in appearance to the attack team in the original level)
- [TTT] mac10s now spawn in the location guards spawned on the EU EXTREME difficulty of MGS2 (I plan to make a addon that swaps out the mac10 in TTT with a Kalashnikov, and I'd like to be able to accomodate the correct amount of Kalashnikovs that would be present on the ship)
- [TTT] fire extinguisher props replaced with usable smoke-grenades (due to the fact fire-extinguishers were dependent assets, but but I didn't want to leave the ship feeling fire-extinguisher-less so I selected a functional replacement.

PLANS FOR THE FUTURE OF THIS ADDON:
- traitor traps/room (maybe)
- proper playermodel
- upload a video to the workshop page of some fellas and I playing through the map.

MY REQUESTS FOR YOU:
- tell me if there are bugs or inconsistencies
- tell me if somebody makes a gurlukovich soldier playermodel that uses the default gmod animations and has a proper ragdoll
- tell me if somebody makes a thermal goggle or nvg item for TTT so I can place it on the crow's nest
- please make suggestions, it could change the map for the better. The worst that could happen is I ignore it
- leave a like or dislike, it makes me feel good/bad about my work.

@Thefoxtrot99 AI nodes are the things half life 2 uses for the NPCs to move around the maps. It shows where an NPC can move, where it can take cover, etc. Another type of NPC called Nextbots use a more advanced system called Nav-meshes, but half life 2 doesn't primarily use that type of AI.

I dont want to add gurlukovitch NPCs as the map is primarily intended for TTT, and the players play as the gurlukovitch guys. However there is A.I. nodes scattered about, on each of the levels, and you can spawn combine around the levels in Sandbox, and use the save system to sneak to your hearts content.
