Also, that's really helpful about the sword slam. Thanks.
Also, about the sword slam, you can tell whether you need to parry 4 or 3 times if he's in DT or not.
For example, if in DT, 3 times is enough, while not in DT, 4 times should do the trick.
Also, the amounts of times I have to parry an attack varies randomly. For example, I sometimes have to parry a sword slam into Spontaneous Sword Spin 4 times to the spinning sword won't get me. Other times, 3 is enough & I get punished for attempting a 4th but there's no way to tell in the moment because if you do it right, the spinning sword doesn't spawn in the first place.
It should be a separate mod because it's fundamentally a different fight. Also, his slam attack stunlocks me with an instant ring of swords that spawns on me & completely ignores my parry despite the big black circle appearing that lets you know you successfully parried. The only solution I've found is to interrupt it with a neutral jab but if my character didn't have an instant attack like that, I'd be completely fucked. Also, if I'm standing behind him, it still hurts me.
When he appears me behind me during the last phase, if I interrupt him with an attack, he disappears & then I get exploded to death by swords from nowhere before my attack ends. If I parry his triple sword slam in the last phase, he follows up with a 0-to-death projectile combo that completely ignore parries.
My personal issue was second phase, when Vergil is doing "Die!" attack, sometimes after parrying him when he lands he can do a second hit(?) like you didn't parry him at all. This attack can be parried tho resulting in 2 parries at once when he lands on the ground.
