A side-mod as you suggested that only adds the Lombax Race + armors with the weapons you created either as recipes or added to the loot pool would be absolutely wonderful for a more vanilla experience.
Looking forward to see it !
Well it would be possible it would also not be hard to do so either to write up a few receipts to craft the armor either. Hmm, I'll see what I can do but I do recall that the Lombax armor does go beyond vanilla scaling. I think the best solution would be to release a sub mod for vanilla armors. I will look into this but I will state that it will be a separate mod from the base one.
Another request though : would it be possible to make an option to re-add armors to the crafting anvil ?
I wanted to play that mod in a more "classic starbound" way but armors aren't available at the anvil which forces me to rely on vendors. I tried the Lombax Race Redux mod instead to get this vanilla feel instead but it seems to have exactly the same issue...
Thank you for your feedback. Well it would be possible, I do not think it would be a good idea due mostly to the fact that it comes from a custom damage type in order to work. If I were to override vanilla weapons, it would likely create more problems or conflicts with other mods. This is mostly why I made the reward chests for those who did not want to use the lombax weapons.
Ah, good to know. It could be whatever mod caused it was updated and fixed the issue. Likely had to do with tweaking the captured monster script or something. Regardless, let me know if it happens again if you can.
Not without installing a mod that does it. It was never something I planned for the mod itself as the weapons all start at level 1 so the stats would likely look pretty poor.
Yeah, just tested the uploaded version of this mod both with and without my personal mod collection and the Little Guardians shop works fine. Maybe something is overriding it for some odd reason in your own collection? Not sure what that could be as everything in that shop has its' own custom id.
