A side-mod as you suggested that only adds the Lombax Race + armors with the weapons you created either as recipes or added to the loot pool would be absolutely wonderful for a more vanilla experience.
Looking forward to see it !
Well it would be possible it would also not be hard to do so either to write up a few receipts to craft the armor either. Hmm, I'll see what I can do but I do recall that the Lombax armor does go beyond vanilla scaling. I think the best solution would be to release a sub mod for vanilla armors. I will look into this but I will state that it will be a separate mod from the base one.
Another request though : would it be possible to make an option to re-add armors to the crafting anvil ?
I wanted to play that mod in a more "classic starbound" way but armors aren't available at the anvil which forces me to rely on vendors. I tried the Lombax Race Redux mod instead to get this vanilla feel instead but it seems to have exactly the same issue...
Thank you for your feedback. Well it would be possible, I do not think it would be a good idea due mostly to the fact that it comes from a custom damage type in order to work. If I were to override vanilla weapons, it would likely create more problems or conflicts with other mods. This is mostly why I made the reward chests for those who did not want to use the lombax weapons.
Ah, good to know. It could be whatever mod caused it was updated and fixed the issue. Likely had to do with tweaking the captured monster script or something. Regardless, let me know if it happens again if you can.
Not without installing a mod that does it. It was never something I planned for the mod itself as the weapons all start at level 1 so the stats would likely look pretty poor.
Yeah, just tested the uploaded version of this mod both with and without my personal mod collection and the Little Guardians shop works fine. Maybe something is overriding it for some odd reason in your own collection? Not sure what that could be as everything in that shop has its' own custom id.
There is no requirements for this mod what-so-ever save for a race extender. I am not sure what could be effecting your menu but that sounds...odd it would require something for a single shop.
Could be as I know very little to nothing about it. Thank you for the info, however.
Hi! I think the issue might be because I'm running the game using OpenStarbound instead of the vanilla client, I have yet to try and run the vanilla client to try and see if thats the problem.
I have not had the time to update anything myself and the update log does not show any changes. If the eyes are different, I cannot be certain why. I'd like to say maybe another mod is effecting it but I doubt it.
Sadly, there is little that can be done(That I know about) due to how starbound handles it's own currency system. Any type of currency in large amounts, be it pixels or the bolts from this mod, will cause lag if picked up in more than sets of 10. Originally, I was going to keep it in that line of thought but wanted to keep the pricing similar to that of the games. It mostly came down to a trade off between the two so I settled for a middle ground. Some of the weapons originally were going to cost a lot more, the R.Y.N.O.(s) is a good example of this. If bolts were only going to drop in sets of 10, this would have been a grind just to get a single weapon.
The reward chests were going to be a middle ground to this but feedback from others stated they they rather have the bolts drop like that in the games.
No, it can be found very rarely in asteroids.
This mod has two items which can be used to upgrade weapons and armor known as; Nano pack and Nano pack X. They can be rarely gotten from reward crates.
The only thing I am seeing in this log, besides the crap ton of FFS errors, is that something is overriding a image for broadswords. I do not otherwise see anything relating to Brotherhood, Crimson Brotherhood, or the Lombax in general.
Got the log. I will be looking it over when I get off work today.

I cannot say I did.
Did you get the log before the link got sniped by steam?
(I didn't know steam would do that)
Glad you are enjoying the mod.
Only recently I found out that mods can breathe new life into the game and downloaded Frackin Universe, decided to try it and see how this mod differs from the original.
Well, I also thought why not try playing as a new character, my choice fell on Lompax
I didn't even think that there were such mods here, it's a good idea.

Using a upload site then linking it?
No, it does not. The drop is not replaced but just added to the pool. As for the weapon, I can confirm it does indeed work. I do know certain mods replaces certain aspects of the game or even prevent drops. Do you have a log or link to your mod list?
Worst part is the brotherhood sword doesn't even work, both its primary & alt are bugged.

Well item levels can go up to level 10+, this cannot be done in the vanilla game anymore. When I get enough time to update the mod again, I will likely be adding a set trade value for the nano packs. I might also add a trade value for bolts to pixels as well but not the inverse.
Ah, yeah my weapon level cap is at 10. I swear I remember bringing something that was level 1 up to 10 but I might be imagining it. In any rate I also have a slight suggestion as well. Prices for the nano packs and nano pack x. I got a bunch of em and i cant use em all so being able to sell em would free up room.
