Description
Arma 3 Persistence

This mod allows you to save and load a multiplayer mission without databases and with as little hassle as possible.

This mod is capable of many things but due to the way Arma 3 works there is a limit to what is possible. The more features that are added the more likely it is to break and thus not meet that "little hassle" standard. I have done my best to find a nice balance between features and hassle. I am hoping to release a dev branch along with the "stable" release to introduce and gauge the popularity and usefulness of new features.

I also noticed it saves snakes. At least it did when i tested on Cam Lao Nam

Works great! Planes seem to explode if they were in the air when this was used but other than that it's really good and faster than other mods. Another thing it does better than other mods like this is to spawn the boats on the water instead of underwater lmao

Is this only Server side or Server and client?

@FlamingCygnet It appears this mod saves Eden assets, so if you ran a mission created in Eden and then loaded the save, those things would be duplicated (not everything, but crates, vehicle, and other units - the only other thing I had in a simple test was a steel target, which was never re-loaded).
From what I could tell, the distance specified on Save doesn't seem to have any effect - items at the far corner of Altis were saved/loaded. I specified, 1, 5, 0, 25.
If other people units are saved, their loadouts are sometimes what they were when saved and sometimes what they were from Eden (it may have been the types of the units, I don't know).
If you go back to Eden and delete everything except the Player unit, run, and Load, the crates/vehicles load, but not the other people units. (If you Load from the original Eden mission, they're duplicated.) Strange.

Anyway, it's a nice mod. I'll continue playing around with it and see what I can get out of it.

Wiki link doesn't work.

wonder if it is possible to use this for HAL campaign on a semi-whole map level?

Yeah we already did that, but the item duplicated after loading up the mission file on the server. Do i need to remove everything on the map before loading it up again?

Make sure you clear the night old save before saving again

Hey, it's a me-not Mario, I just found a bit of an issue, when the save was loaded into the server, the vehicles were duplicated causing arma physics to bug out, send things to fly about thus destroying the base, there aren't any error warnings however. Inventory also were duplicated sadly. Is there a potential way of fixing it?

No problem, i appreciate it!
