Campaign Army Movement Reduction

Description
Tired of having land armies march from city to city? No more land battles?

Well, fret not! With this mod, all land units have had their movement range reduced on the campaign map!


This mod changes the movement through the difficulty modifier. It should be compatible with all mods as I've added new lines and not used any original database tables. The movement reduction is the same on all difficulties and only affects armies, not navies.

Hey!

I do not have time to make another variation/version of this mod at this time unfortunately.

If anyone want's to give it a try, I have no issues with anyone using my mod as a base template for an updated version.

Hello mate, i know it's probably been a while since you've even looked at this mod, but i was wondering if you could make a variation of this mod that reduces movement range by 40% for player and AI?
& Would it be possible to get one for 50% too incase 40% isn't enough? All of the bonuses you can receive throughout a campaign still make it so that i'm getting barely any field battles, only sieges, which i find boring. Problem is especially noticeable in Western Europe.

I'd appreciate it a lot, i have absolutely no idea about modding whatsoever.

I tested this mod with the new Fireforged-Empire mod. IT WORKS, but you may have to start a new campaign for it to apply.

@Pocket Sand I've made a spin off of this mod that reduces the AI's movement by 40% and the players by 30%

Not sure if this was what you wanted, but feel free to download the mod and make changes to the .pack file to adjust the movement variables. I've made the tables separate from the original games tables, so you shouldn't be able to mess up too much ;)

Mod is now updated. Seems CA did some changes to the db tables for some reason. Tested on new campaing, but should be compatible with old saves and other mods

I just tested this and it doesn't work for 1212. Any way you can make this compatible or can anyone point me to one that is?

It seems this mod doesn't work at all. movement seems as crazy as in vanilla still
