Hey!

I do not have time to make another variation/version of this mod at this time unfortunately.

If anyone want's to give it a try, I have no issues with anyone using my mod as a base template for an updated version.

Hello mate, i know it's probably been a while since you've even looked at this mod, but i was wondering if you could make a variation of this mod that reduces movement range by 40% for player and AI?
& Would it be possible to get one for 50% too incase 40% isn't enough? All of the bonuses you can receive throughout a campaign still make it so that i'm getting barely any field battles, only sieges, which i find boring. Problem is especially noticeable in Western Europe.

I'd appreciate it a lot, i have absolutely no idea about modding whatsoever.

I tested this mod with the new Fireforged-Empire mod. IT WORKS, but you may have to start a new campaign for it to apply.

@Pocket Sand I've made a spin off of this mod that reduces the AI's movement by 40% and the players by 30%

Not sure if this was what you wanted, but feel free to download the mod and make changes to the .pack file to adjust the movement variables. I've made the tables separate from the original games tables, so you shouldn't be able to mess up too much ;)

Mod is now updated. Seems CA did some changes to the db tables for some reason. Tested on new campaing, but should be compatible with old saves and other mods

It seems this mod doesn't work at all. movement seems as crazy as in vanilla still

I should have phrased it differently.

The player and AI both have the same movement speed on all difficulties with this mod. And the movement speed is reduced by 30-40% from Vanilla. Don't remember the exact value in my head atm.

So the player always has a reduction, but the AI moves farther depending on difficulty?

Originally, on legendary difficulty, the AI get 20% more movement distance compared to the player on the campaign map, 15% on hard i believe and 10% on normal. Hence, the movement adjustment were done to be the same on all difficulties, so one can enjoy the mod on whatever difficulty you play on.

The overall movement reduction were also scaled down, as shown on the pictures. :)

Yes, as shown on the pictures. Picture 3 is the original movement of AI armies, picture 4 is the new movement range :)
