The trouble is more tricky than it seems or looks of doing it, this including tricking Game Pass to think the save game is originally created from within Game Pass save game, and I find it not worth the trouble to make it, not only it requires testing, and also not many people will be able to do it from their end quite well, again this in regards of tricking Game Pass system on how they running their save game and how well their cloud save able to synchronize, and also the internet connection.
Hence why most players have their save game corrupted or lost when sync into Steam cloud save, that's why it is recommended to disable cloud save on Steam as well, and preferably to backup manually instead of sync through the Steam cloud save.
Sorry first of all that I am not able to make the guide and not worth the trouble including for future gameplay platforms for Game Pass, you need to have the game on Steam. I don't think I will be doing the guide to transfer Steam Game save file into the Game Pass, since it's not a reliable platform to play Medieval Dynasty.
Basically, it is highly NOT recommended. It comes with more issues than enjoyment. Preferably to play MD in Steam than in any other platform. Also, you don't have MD in your Steam library.
More support is available if in the Steam platform preferably via the Toplitz Official Discord server. Help from moderators, community and volunteers.
I copied a save file turned it into a .sav uploaded it to a save editor downloaded the new .sav and am now stuck on how to get the game pass version of the game to read the .SAV
Your welcome ^^
You may want to read the "How to Reset Game Setting Config to Default" section for more knowledge.
Ah ok, thanks. Even copied the container file because it doesnt work
You don't need to copy & paste the 2KB file or even make a label if you transfer the saved game files from Game Pass to Steam. Just need to copy & paste the save game, then when you start the game and play from Steam. It will auto-create the "xxxx_Label.sav"
The 2KB file is not the label file (from the Game Pass), it's a setting config file, the "xxxx_Label.sav" can be safely deleted, won't matter, what you really need is the save game.
As long as it works.
i copied the big file and the 2kb file from gamepass to steam folder an named it "GamePassSave.sav" and "GamePassSave_Label.sav" (for the 2kb file).
Your welcome :)
