FunctionalityPlus
A Quality of Life mod set that polishes up rough spots in Ark's gameplay without changing how Ark plays. Same Ark, just feels better to play!

FunctionalityPlus now includes the following mods and features, with more planned:

ActionBars Plus!
*Coming Soon(TM) - Currently in Beta*
A reliable, easy-to-use multi-hotbar solution for Ark! Fantastic for switching from combat to harvesting to building modes with a quick alt-scroll! Includes lock item feature (just click the lock icon on any hotbar item) to save an item's assignment to that hotbar slot (won't be overwritten even if you drag another item to the slot for temporary use).

Autorun Plus!

The Autorun Plus! mod is ideal for making all travel in Ark easier and less tiring for players. Just like in most other open world games, you tap a defined key to start your character, dino or vehicle moving forward, then relax while Autorun! does the moving for you. Your keyboard hand is freed up, and you can also use in-game screens like chat, inventory etc. while it\'s on.

You can steer, jump, crouch, go prone and even strafe while moving, and you don't need to awkwardly "turn it off" either - just use the W or S key normally for a seamless transition back to manual control. An audible stamina warning is even included to help keep you from running out in an awkward situation! (Only when mounted on dino.)

Autorun Plus! supports all known dino and vehicle movement modes, including rafts, tek skiff, tek hoversail, flyers with swoop, rock drakes, roll rats, bloodstalkers, ziplines, etc. Autorun Plus! does not interfere with mouse/keyboard control, so all dino actions and character abilities (weapons, crouch, prone, shield, wingsuit, etc.) are fully functional.

Bonus, you can use any in-game interface normally while moving, so you can swap gear, clear inventories, use crafting saddles, etc. on the go. *Special admin option to disable autorun when inventory is opened.
And orbit cam is very easy to use with Autorun Plus!, so you can get all cinematic with your view of yourself moving. Great for taking in the view while flying, and even filming action scenes!

*****Click and hold the left thumbstick to activate/deactivate AutoRun Plus.
*****Hold Left bumper and click the left thumbstick to toggle between running and walking.

Auto Nofollow!
How. Many. Times. Have you had to re-park it a dino because you forgot to cancel follow after hopping off of it? SO MANY TIMES.

No longer! The Auto Nofollow mod automatically cancels Follow mode when you hop off a dino! This saves you from having to cancel it manually (or forgetting to :D), and also makes it very easy to park dinos that were on follow.

And for those occasions when you have to move a dino on follow without cancelling it, you can use the mod UI to ignore dinos following other dinos, or even bind a key to hold while you hop off. All use cases covered!

Crash Recovery
Game crash while flying around on your argy? This module will attempt to activate a slightly modified parachute on your character with the hopes of preventing an annoying gravity based death.

FunctionalityPlus mod UI menu
- Default F10 key, changeable in the menu, with controls and help text for each included mod.
- Ctrl+Alt+Shift+F10 will always bring up the menu in case you forgot what you changed the keybind to.
- Patch notes will also be inculded in the menu with each major update.

Future Planned Mods

We think there's a LOT of good that can be done with focused, single-issue QoL mods, and our mod set UI is built to roll them out. Stay tuned for updates!

I never modified the existing UI. I only added buffs with UIs attached so I am not sure what would be causing issues unless there was an overhaul of the UI system and I just need to update the mod to the be more compatible. My computer died a while back and I haven't gotten around to fixing it but I do look forward to at the very least updating this for the UE5 version (assuming it is still needed). If need be the stand alone version of AutoRun is still available on the workshop.

I do not believe I activated the ActionBarsPlus module due to it being too buggy for my liking. It worked alright in some light testing but I didn't get to testing it very much and we didn't get a whole lot of volunteers for the beta build we had available.

I too am having the problem Kishkuma and Jack described. All of my UI disappears, similar to what toggling the UI would do via Backspace, except HUD elements (waypoints, dino names, etc) still are displayed. Hotbar doesn't show but can use items via hotkeys. Opening my inventory temporarily makes all UI elements reappear until closing the inventory screen.

Both times the issue has happened (mod has been installed for 20ish minutes) it started after opening the mod settings menu and the other time from opening my inventory. After which, the whole UI becomes unresponsive, unable to click anything. Pressing escape a couple times closes the interface while also hiding other UI stuff described above, until quitting to main menu and reloading game. I'm in Single player.

I can post the mods i'm using if you want but am going to try your standalone Autorun mod instead. If the same thing happens, I will attempt to find any mod conflicts and report the results.

Is ActionBarsPlus currently part of this? I don't see anything on the F10 menu for it, but swekaj was asking if it could be turned off... Am I missing something?

If its not in the mod yet, any ETA on it? Coming from factorio I really miss multiple hotbars :-)

I just spent a couple hours testing. With this mod first in priority, as I use no mods that say they require to be first load, and it took much longer for the error to occur but still occurs. It also seems to break the UI in general sometimes, not allowing me to craft, add stats, or transfer items. It literally only happens with this mod.

I am now running into the same issue as Kishkuma. I am going to try changing the mod load order to see if that helps.
Also, @Taelor, doesn't shift click and ctrl click add more stats at once? I swear I remember that being a thing, but may have been a mod.

The autorun works great, but unfortunately when I enable this mod the side UI showing health/stamina/etc. disappears and I can't seem to get it back except by disabling the mod. :/

or just enter the amount of levels you want to put in a stat

Making changes to an existing UI would require radical changes but making a new/separate UI could solve that. Maybe this UI could not only batch level dinos but maybe auto level them based on a preset template the player has created in advance?

Suggestion:

When leveling up a dino (or after a midwipe), you have to click 50-100 times.

It would be awesome to level up in groups of 5, 10, Max. If there is anyway to add that into the UI, it would be super helpful.
