描述
Mod Information:

Iridar's Template Master - Core is required

This mod is a package of Max's Chimera Squad Weapons in the form of ghost templates for use with mods such as Iridar's Template Master, Weapon Skin Replacer or XSkin.

You can configure anything you want in: \steamapps\workshop\content\268500\2556737873\Config



By default it uses the textures from the original mod, due to using the same content folder and everything you can optionally replace the content file with the HQ textures that are linked on the original mod page.

Compatibility:
Should be compatible with just about anything, you could probably use this mod alongside the original mod...but not sure what the point to that would be since you could use the templates included in that mod as long as you know the template names..

If bugs do arise related then let me know and I'll try to address them if possible

OK Thanks. The pink/grey does appear with the LoRes UPK. I'am going to try with the HiRes UPK. I'll let you know, this might interest other users of your mod. Rgds

The attachments should be up to par regardless of the quality of the guns themselves, Xcom 2 is a pretty HIgh-Res game in the first place so it should be fine.

As for the pink/grey stuff, does this happen with the weapons without the high-res UPK?

Regardless I can only think of it being an issue on the ones who made the attachments or it being a missing files/textures thing, I believe the latter would be more likely but I don't ultimately know since I did not make the other mod nor have looked at it's file contents.

Hello Deadput. I use the Ghost Template Chimera Pack. I also use the attachment pack created by Vehementia.
a/ Should I decide to use the HiRes version of the weapons, which I downloaded, will the attachments also be HiRes ? I believe the answer is no, but I'd like to be sure. Will the attachments still be compatible with the weapons then ? I would say yes but I'm really not sure about that.
b/ For some attachments (the expanded magazines), I get the grey and pink look, which is related to textures if I'm not mistaken. Is there something I can do to get the real look ? I don't think unsubscribe / resubscribe works.

If you set it up to do so yes, ghost templates are just assets that don't do anything unless you set something up via config.

Aka this is an asset pack you could use to replace any weapon model if you do the manual config needed, without doing that this mod does nothing.

I'm confused on how I get these to show up. Do they replace the default look at a certain tech level?

Replacing them with the vanilla weapon image isn't going to work because their split among several different images (so there's a base frame with other images being added on top depending on what attachment is on the gun, which is pretty much what's in the screenshot you uploaded but not supposed to be split up like that)

Aka they are not like the Chimera Firearms weapon icons which is a single image.
