Description
Pike's Bounty is a nice blob of green and pleasant land with rolling hills.

Easily flat enough if you like flat stuff.

Plenty of waterfront with small rivers, big rivers and suggested docklands.

***UPDATED***

***New highway interchanges instead of roundabouts to deal with traffic issues, see last image.***

***If you have the 81 tile mod (added to one-click collection), waste water pipe pumps sewage into pond away from main lakes/rivers. Water pipe in start square.***

Connections:
4 Road
4 Shipping
4 Air
2 Rail

There is a dirt track running across the map, but I could only connect one end. I tried the "Unlimited Outside Connections" mod etc., but I guess it doesn't work in the map editor :( The "81 tiles mod" could come in handy too!

Low tree count at 119k.

I have used Theme Mixer 2 to create my own theme mix for Pike's Bounty. I use the Fiore LUT, but it is equally as pretty with the Spitfire LUT which is not as 'in your face'... Feel free to use your own discretion here.

One-click collection above - I have tried to keep the requirements down.

Daylight Classic settings used in screenshots:
"Classic fog effect" - on
"Classic fog colour" - on
All others - off

As far as I know, when you subscribe to a map and you start playing it, any update to the map won't affect you unless you start a new game with that map.

Hi Purple, thanks for commenting, this is the first time I've updated a map so I'm not sure how or if it affects saves with a previous version. Sorry you're having troubles, is it just the updated section of highway?

after the update my roads are glitching, if i zoom in

Thanks for the comment xmicha3lx, I hadn't given that a thought. I think by using the 'Extra Landscaping Tools' mod you can place a water source and adjust the level in order to act as a drain. Well noticed and thanks for pointing it out!

Looks like all the water flows inward with no off-map exits. This will result in a massive poop lake. Surprised BonBonB didn't catch this. Otherwise a great map.

Thanks MrMontana1889, most appreciated! You're right, I should have connected the two highways better, something I bear in mind for my next map. Hope you enjoy your build on this!

First, this is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL map. The BonBonB review doesn't give it justice. It's just simply stunning. As far as I'm concerned, it's a 5/5/5 map.

Second, traffic can be a problem on the highway. I don't think it has enough capacity. As much as I love roundabouts, I don't think they provide enough speed for traffic to flow smoothly. Though it seems to eb and flow - so sometimes I'm at 85% traffic flow and sometimes it drops into the 60s.

Third, I think a 4L national road (2L in each direction) from the roundabout near the start square going into the start square would be a better approach than a highway. It would be the same number of lanes (you're using 2 lane highways now). it would be easier to connect the city to as well. Don't use NExt2. There is another 4L national road that can be used that is just as good.

I've only just started my build but I expect to get to at least 100k in population.

Kudos, @dolomitedave. Kudos.
