Hood Liveries:

BNSF
UP
CSX
NS
CR
PC
C&O
B&O

Hoods are randomized based off what is typical for what livery, example:

CSX, B&O and C&O hoods will show up on CSX cars, but not BNSF ones.

Cars may also rarely get exposed steel coils as per prototype

So it looks like the only cars that get hoods of their predecessor railroads are the CSX, is that correct?
I'll admit I didn't pay full heed to the hood liveries of the description, but I was expecting hoods of the NYC and Pennsylvania on the Penn Centrals and some extras on the Norfolk Southerns.
With that out of the way, I agree with Evil.Iguana that cars of this type were desperately needed based on the appearance of other freight cars handling steel specifically!
