SMR-2350 | Small Marine Nuclear Reactor

Description

The SMR-2350 Small Marine Reactor is a small-scale nuclear power generation unit rated for up to 2350KW (peak). It is designed to operate in and out of water, and be deeply submerged in order to meet the power needs of underwater bases and to recharge ROVs and subs. It has several key features that make it exceptionally safe and easy to use.

Features:
  • Automatic Reactor Startup & Control
  • Operation Info Displays
  • Automatic Emergency SCRAM
  • 2000KW Sustained, up to 2350KW Peak
  • Submersible or Open Air Stationed
  • Electric Cable Ports & Connectors
  • Refillable Main Core Tank

Instruction Manual:
To start the reactor, simply push the unlock button, and turn on the System. After a few seconds of pre-start, the reactor will be ready to start. Push the Reactor On toggle button, and the system will begin automatic startup procedures until it's running stable. To shut down reactor, perform process in reverse.

Marine Reactor Series:
PMR-2650 Pico Marine Reactor | 2650KW
SMR-2350 Small Marine Reactor | 2350KW
MMR-4660 Medium Marine Reactor | 4660KW

FIXED EASY!!! Hi all, stormorks boilers no longer have a pressure node, and a lot of these nuclear reactors used a pressure reading for various safety features... To fix this creation and probably a lot more like it, just see where the boiler "Fluid level" or whatever its called leads to, its likely that used to be a boiler pressure node, they got combined. So just remove any logic related to boiler pressure.

Best of luck, I hope creators realize this and make the required fixes but in the mean time you can do it!

is there a way to cause a meltdown from within, i want to trigger a few warheads once they detect a meltdown to simulate a nuclear explosion from battle damage

I've uploaded a fixed version until the creator updates the original (thanks to kadeg3 for the fix), here's the link:

I dont think it works anymore. It wont insert the fuel rod and so the reaction dont happend. Might have been one of the last updates the messed it up :(

Thanks alot i used it in my underwater base ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3153836825 ). Works and looks cool!

Looks like a marine laptop

That works, but make sure to set the low of the temperature threshold to -100 in case you go near the arctic.

Fix to the Boiler problem. I just put on two threashold gates, one for boiler temperature(high 105, low 0) and one for boiler pressure(High 7, low 0). Then the on/off output of both threshold gates goes into both inputs of an And gate. The output of the And gate goes into one input of a second And gate. Second input of the second and gate will recieve the on/off signal from the Reactor On/Off button at the control panel(so this operation only happens when reactor is running) Finally, the output of the second And gate goes to both pumps that feed reactor coolant to and from the boiler and reactor core. Hope this helps!

Also with this logic setup, you can keep a boiler producing good steam and never blowing up, also you wont overheat your condenser so easily. You can run a single simple closed loop from boiler(completely full of water as it spawns) to turbine/piston to condenser and back with no extra water tanks, pressure relief valves, any valve work, or complicated logic.

the problem is that the pressure builds to much. the boom you hear is the boiler exploding
