Description
<< SLASH. >>

Snipe buildings, weakpoints, carrier engines, and more with terrain and target piercing electromagnetic induction weapons.

S-EMIG “Mitsurugi” — 25 x 200mm Electromagnetic Induction gun
New model high-capacity precision railcannon firing miniaturized 25mm fin-stabilized osmium core sabots. Smaller caliber size confers smaller aerodynamic shockwave, and thus smaller hitbox.
Two rounds loaded, slow reload — make your shots count.

EMIG "Donnerkanone" — 40 x 800mm EMI gun
Standard issue naval-grade railcannon firing 40mm fin-stabilized tungsten darts. Pierces through all known material and kills most things in a single blow with high travel time, near-infinite range, and zero drop. Loaded with only a single shot at a time, although its full clip reload mitigates this with multiple loads. Large hitbox.

G-EMIG “Magnum” — 40 x 800mm EMI cannon
Modest upgrade over existing EMI systems firing self-correcting high-velocity fragmenting sabots. Possessing the same piercing properties and extreme range of the unguided EMLs, its accuracy against moving targets at range is unparalleled. Warning: shots will self destruct if fired unguided.

COILGUN “Snapper” — 20 x 100mm EMI machine gun
Rapid-fire, close-range piercing EMI autocannon built to equip lighter aerodynes. A useful multirole weapon that comes with far more ammo available at a time, but lacks full-clip reload. Best fired in shot bursts.

PESG “ReVOLT” — Plasma Electro-Shock Gun
Short-range plasma cannon. While limited in reach due to atmospheric attenuation of the plasma bolt, the ReVOLT’s unique plasma shot causes it to both incinerate light skinned targets and fry harder target’s internal electronics, effectively dealing piercing damage.

EMLs (now EMIGs) have been renamed according to their intended use.

To avoid confusion between the Purgatorio and Donnerkanone EMLs, I suggest renaming the Purgatorio to TWIN-EML Purgatorio.

there could be a couple of solution to fix that if you allow me to:
Lowering the range to make it not the other end of the jupiter or
as you suggested removing piercing since its lock on is more a personal message.
Also on other note: Is it possible to separate collision with entities and collision with landscape?
Its awesome that i can siskebob entire formations, the fact i can destroy a building from the other side of a mountain by blasting through solid rock is a bit excessive
I mean... I love me a hefty railcannon... but this make it silly a bit.

Still great work and it gives a feeling of a real rail weapon and not the Kunai from the OG weapon pack.

apologies for the late reply — this is a known bug due to the nature of guided weapons and especially ones that pierce

the railshell's attempting to track the target it just killed — given that it has an intentionally limited turning radius it looks like it's streaking away with a big fat X
i could fix this by removing the piercing capability, though i think it's hilarious and would rather let people experiment with trickshots that way

Bigger iron
Also the lock on railgun's ammo seem to behave a bit funky
when it hits a target it veers off in a direction and gets stuck into the horizon...
