Description
My adversary smiles. 'Surely your freedom is worth a little more than that.'
A Season of Suspicions is a mod that replaces several of the base game's hunters, and significantly alters their associated mechanics. As you work your schemes in the shadows, contend with a corrupt inspector general, a vigilante war hero, a persistent young journalist, and a Know-Detective from the Land of the Rising Sun. Set your minions and followers upon them - or show them the glory they might taste at your side.

The mod adds these new features:
  • Four new Hunters, each with original artwork and unique, troublesome abilities (the Weary Detective is left alone)
  • A Case Transfer event, which can potentially replace the Weary Detective with a stronger adversary
  • An Independent Training event, which may imbue a given Hunter with new traits
  • Overhauls and extends the process of attacking and killing Hunters

Hunters don't produce the correct evidence. Is there any way this can be fixed?

mod breaks the mansus

I don't know if this is due to incompatibility with some other mod but it seems that, in its current form, this mod straight up disables entering into Mansus.
You can still obtain the doors and use them but the transition doesn't apear and you don't get any rewards.
Again, didn't test it alone to see if its incompatibility problem - but stay aware!

I've been encountering a bug recently where hunters will produce the base-game evidence rather than the modded evidence. I'm not sure if it's a bug with this mod or season of acquaintances, as I have both installed, but no other mods. The bug occurs on the newest CS update, with the current UI, and the old UI. It occurs regardless of the priority the mods are set in and effects all hunters. Additionally, the Infamy card seems to be having no effect whatsoever. The only thing this definitively 'breaks' is Florence's quest from season of acquaintences, as the situation that is meant to trigger when her special evidence is scooped up does not trigger, instead functioning like non-decaying base-game notoriety and producing or upgrading base-game evidence.

Works now. Thanks

Yes, you'll have to disable AchieveIntegrations in order to use this mod

This conflicts with the achieveIntegrations mod, both mods add aspects to explore and the 'gone to ground' aspect gets overwritten by achieveIntegrations 'explorable' so you can't explore to find hiding hunters.

@CrazyCat1978
Try disabling Asclepian Mysteries and Archaelogist; they might be touching some of the talk recipes/verbs I use to make Gone to Ground work as an aspect. Mod compatibility is, unfortunately, still quite terrible between CS mods. As for the Notoriety that decays from a Hunter's corpse - that's simply a quirk of how mutations work in CS. Functionally they should have no impact since the hunter is dead, and the Notoriety will go away eventually.

also is hunter notoriety supposed to retain all the aspects the hunter got from my attacks (cuz it has grim, idealist, tenacious 3 hunter wounds, gone to ground and not sure but it might have weary as well)
