REMOD - Overhaul

Description
Mod Description
Nerf and rebalance for most of the items from "Resident Evil Item development for 41" mod.

Currently it has 4 modules (more planned in the future):

REMOD - Clothes Overhaul:
  • Most of the clothes (from REMOD) have reduced defence/wind/water resistance according to their visual looks.

    (for example BSAA army pants have similar protection to firefighter pants, Also Jill Beret/'hair'(and similar stuff) does not have 100 Bite/Scratch Defence etc).

REMOD - Container Overhaul:
  • Mostly all of the bags/backpacks/fanny packs(from REMOD) have reduced capcity by 80-90%.

    (no more small fanny pack with 26 capacity etc).

REMOD - Feature Overhaul (previously "No More Green/Red herbs"):
  • full removal of herbs (green/red) from zombie loot and foraging/scavennging

  • full removal of all types of jewels (red/green/yellow etc...)

  • removal of two occupation(STARS and USS)

  • removed "Businessman" category and all REMOD recipes

REMOD - Light Feature Overhaul:
  • full removal of herbs (green/red) - same as is Feature Overhaul

  • extremely low chance for red jevels to drop (from 400 zeds i got only 1 jewel), intended for long term runs

  • nerfed two occupations(STARS and USS), now they give less stats and have cost in points

Mod activation
Note that you dont need to activate all modules, you can activate only the ones you like.

Container and Clothes Overhaul, can be activated in any order.

IMPORTANT:

* Feature Overhaul MUST be activated after original REMOD(or be positioned after REMOD in mod order list)

* Activeate only ONE Feature Overhaul at the same time (otherwise, only one of them will work)

Compatibility
Safe to add to current saves, but will work only for newly found items.

Credits
All credits for REMOD items/3d models/etc goes to the original author of the REMOD.
You need to subscribe AND activate original mod first:

Recommended mods to play with this one:
Backpack Overhaul
Nerfs vanilla backpacks and most modded ones.

Realistic Inventory
Great mod that makes "main" inventory a bit more realistic. With this you won't be able to carry 50kg of items while being naked...

Updates:
  • 24-01-2022

    - "Feature Overhaul" now also removes all REMOD recipes and category "Businessman" from craft menu

  • 22-01-2022

    - Changed ID and Renamed module "No more red/green herb" into a "Feature Overhaul", server owners need to re-add it.

    it also removes occupations(STAR/USS) in create character screen

    * Note all ppl who had pre created characters with those two occupations, by activating "Feature Overhaul" will have profession icon dissapeared , but dont worry, all the skills will remain the same!

    - Added new module "Light Feature Overhaul", as it is said, with this module, red jewels still drop, so you can collect enough and buy stuff, but the chances is very low, also, STAR, and USS occupations nerfed

only if the core mod 41版生化危机物品拓展包 Resident Evil Item development for 41 will be updated. I am not the author of it, i tried to contact him but it was in vain. So basically, you should ask him to update it first.

I put this mod on my server, but all the time when I using something from container, I see "error message" in corner. I dont know why?

for my overhaul reWmod is not necessary. I did not touch weapons in any way. And as far as i remember, reWmod does not add jewels on its own. So it should probably be fine playing with it.

for my modules to work properly, mod order with original one is important.

REMOD (original one, 41版生化危机物品拓展包 Resident Evil Item...) must be higher in order then my overhauls

mod order should look something like that

REMOD
REWMD
REMOD - Clothes Overhaul
REMOD - Container Overhaul
REMOD - Feature Overhaul
...other mods...

Do I need REMOD and REWMOD active for this to work? I only want the guns in my server but I want to remove Icarus stuff and jewels

hm, you do activate overhaul after REMOD? or do you perhaps also activate "Light Feature Overhaul" after "Feature Overhaul"?
or there is also some other remod overhauls, i am not sure if those ones are just copy paste or what not, but still you do not use them?
