Civilized World Map

Description
This little mod changes the big map of the grand campaign, Caesar in Gaul and the map for historical battles to a new one (the picture). Link for the full map changes is below:

The map without the old map components

On this map the civilized world at 272 B.C. is just like the old map, but the not known wilderness barbarian lands are shown as wilderness. It looks pretty fancy in my opinion. I was playing with photoshop and made it.

Compatible with patch 12
Compatible with all mods which don't do the same (and except the fully edited map I didn't see any yet)
Save game compatible

Caesar in Gaul is coming (it doesn't let me upload)
Hannibal at the Gates crashes when I try it, will be looking into this (so not included yet)
Italy was all known, so the prologue will just keep the same.

Thank you for taking a look into it. It probably isn't possible because using a picture for fog would use more data and most games are stingy with data.

I'm not sure it's possible, because I believe the fog is just a db number, since I am not sure I'll have a look.

But take in note I'm fairly busy this week, so I'll begin at earliest trying at friday.

Someone made another "modern" or civilized map mod, however they added provincial names to the map. I like this change, however they also used a weird filter that blurs the image. I don't like that change and your mod is superior in that respect.

The challenge I have to offer both of you is to make a mod that replaces fog areas with the original map. Showing just provinces but not showing where a city is or who ocupies the city.

And in this mod, that's basically what it should do, the barbarian lands are wilderness, making in harder to navigate your campaign here.

Can you put back the names of the provinces without their names - it will help a lot.If a new player dont know where is capadokia and galatia and have mission to capcure all towns there he would spend 2-5 min to find them on the map.Great mod btw
