This mod makes Temple Guard count as Saurus units
for technology and lord bonuses.
You know, like they are? ...Maybe CA just forgot about that?

It also lets Temple Guard be guerilla deployed like all other Lizardmen infantry while in the Astromancy stance.


I can't take the credit for this one, either. It was already made by Nemo. But their mod name and description are in Chinese so none of us Anglophiles knew it, so here's this English-titled version. This version will also be a green checkmark in the launcher since it's been uploaded since the latest update.

Full list of Temple Guard units that will now count as Saurus units:
  • Temple Guards
  • Temple Guards (RoR)
  • Blessed Temple Guards
  • Temple Guards (Nakai)

Custom unit mod variants of Temple Guards won't count because they have different unit IDs. Reskins are fine.

so Temple Guards will get buffed from Saurus related buff and its own Temple Guard buffs in skill trees?

I am curious whether this will effect the skill bonuses/techs that specifically mention Temple Guard- have those been changed at all or will they get the bonus from both?

I looked into it for you. Thought it'd be an easy mod, but it doesn't seem to be governed by any tables I thought to look in. I'm not pursuing it further.

Preaaaase, make the Clan Angrund ghost heroes either unable to perform agent action - or remove (or reduce) their 100 percent protection against agent action. It's ridiculous that they just run around killing all your agents without any possibility of retaliation. One of the most grossly over-powered garbage in this game.
