Medieval Pawnmorpher

Description
This is a mod for Pawnmorpher that copies some of the mutagenic items from the original mod and gives them new names, descriptions and tech level to fit in a medieval playthrough! As of now, only slurry, antigens and serums have been medievalized. This mod also adds a brand new research tree, workbench and production chains.

I am taking a hiatus for now. Will come back to maintain and update the mod in some weeks.

The new production chain can be started at a stove with just the first research project, mutagenic press, which first requires the Mutagenic Plants research from the original mod. With this research, you can press chaobulbs and glowvines to make crude soups.

Antigen soups and Mutagenic soups are similar to Antigens and Slurry from the original mod, but they will expire quickly becuase of the lack of modern containers. Antigen soups can be used to stop mutations. Mutagenic soups are a vital part of the production of mutagenic potions.

To produce the potions, you also require animal parts, through a primitive non-canon process of stabilizing the mutagenics inside the soups in the specialized mutagenics kitchen.

After that, you can further process these potions to create flasks and powders for more specific effects.

This mod should be compatible with everything pawnmorper is compatible with.

Optional patches for Medieval Overhaul. They can be toggled off in the mod settings under "More Mod Settings".

Mod is getting closer to fully complete. I will see if there is a possibility to adapt the truly lategame stuff.

Yap and Ironwolf for giving me the green light to publish this mod and, ofc, for developing Pawnmoprher.
Crunchyduck for helping me colour balance the workbench textures.
Medieval Overhaul team for the inspiration for some parts of the workbench graphics and soups.
Imranfish for creating the excellent XML Extensions mod.
Pidgezz for the motivational and reviewing help with art.

I haven't found any that atleast don't require Medieval Overhaul, the closest I found was for tribals but it's more like Tribal Magic then like making potions, I think you'd be great at making your own version of medieval biotech

There are already some mods out there that medievalize biotech concepts.

Understandable, I feel that, well how about Medieval Biotech instead?

Sorry for the lack of updates, is just that personally I don't play with pawnmorpher anymore due to Biotech fulfilling that niche in my gameplay.

Pawnmorpher was updated to 1.4. And XML Extentions was updated to 1.4 and now to 1.5...

Is there still a chance that this may get an update for 1.4 some day? (Miracles do sometimes happen, right?)

Can anyone else confirm that this still works in 1.4, despite the version mismatch warning?

Please 1.4, I'll donate a lot of steam point thingies!:steammocking:

This seems to work on 1.4. I didn't test many things, was just messing around in dev mode and dont know how this (or pawnmorpher in general) is supposed to work tbh, but seems fine

Does this work for 1.4?

Hello, tested out the farm potion and it didn't give any hediffs. Pawnmorpher did a balance patch recently that changed some of the classes. Might be worth a look.

Also any plans to include items to give more control? Say I really wanted a Ratmorph, rn my best bet is to use the Rodent potion but that only has a 1/7 to give the desired morph.
