Scotty's ACE Weapon Modification

Description
This mod allows more integral weapon components like grenade launchers, optic rails, etc. to be detached or attached to weapons in the field.

You are able to do this through the ACE self-interaction menu under "equipment" and then "components". The actions for attaching/detaching components will always be shown if your weapon is compatible.

Current support:
  • Vanilla Arma 3 (except for the QBZ-95-1/CTAR)
  • Western Sahara Creator DLC
  • CUP Weapons (partial)
  • JCA Infantry Arsenal
  • Arma 3: Aegis
  • Arma 3: Atlas
  • RHSAFRF
  • RHSUSAF
  • RHSGREF
  • RHSSAF
  • NIArms

Component detach/attach time can be changed in CBA settings.

If you would like weapons from other mods to be supported, contact me or open an issue on Github and I may consider adding them. If you run into any bugs at all, please report them so I can fix them. You can contact me directly on Discord at scottythepilot.

I think it'd be neat to have a soft CDLC compatibility with Western Sahara's underbarrel mounts and Contact's underbarrel mounts, I think they're the same if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah, I'd like to have CUP compatibility, I might work on it eventually.

New update for the mod: I've added support for adding custom components/weapon mod actions via a mod or description.ext. I've also made the code public on GitHub: https://github.com/ScottyThePilot/sct_wmod

Hi, I developed a mod called Simple underbarrel change kit. If you like I would like to chat about what you have done, your aproach and how easy this is to maintain. Maybe it is possible to join forces, help for mod support or discontinue my mod if yours is more lightweight.

While it is not extensive, or even stress-testing, myself and another member of my group loaded this mod up (locally to clients, not to server, as that seems unnecessary) and hopped onto our dedicated server for some quick tests. We didn't encounter any errors or unexpected behaviors, and everything seemed to work properly.

I personally love the idea of this mod, and am very excited about the possibility for future expansions. Keep up the good work!
