Dwarven Weapons

Description
TL;DR: Adds 6 types of weapons (axe, gladius, spear, and more). Adds dwarves as a race. Adds unique weapons and recruits that can be found, hidden in some lore. Also adds brewing beer!

What does this mod do?
  • At the moment it adds 6 weapons (axe, maul, gladius, spear, war hammer, sickle sword) to the game that can be crafted by the player.
  • It also adds unique versions that can be found in the world (currently excluding: none)
  • Hints to find the uniques are hidden in certain locations, start at places that sell maps
  • The blueprint for crafting the weapons can be found in most locations that sell common weapon blueprints.
  • All weapon models that can be crafted in the vanilla game are supported with textures.
  • Dwarves are a separate race with different boni and stats split up in 3 clans (subraces)
  • Adds all the items and crafting stations required to brew your own dwarven beer!

    The latest update:
  • This one does need an import
  • Added new location, new quest, new unique weapon (variant of sickle sword), new unique recruit.
  • Added two types of crabs.
  • Added map to new location to dwarven blacksmith and dwarven brewery locations.


    Previous update:
  • No weapon this time around!
  • Added the Dwarven Brewery! The map to it is purchaseable at the Blacksmith location. If you've recruited Furoba already: Brewery is in the South West, at the border between West Hook and Shun
  • The brewery comes with the full research package: Crafting stations, hop fields, malt, wort and most importantly: dwarven stout!

    What will be added in the future?
    • It's completed!

    What else?
  • Import required unless you start a new game anyway
  • Updates add new weapons automatically, at least the ones that can be crafted by the player
  • It works with the Genesis mod pack (It did back in 2021, cannot confirm for 2025)
  • Mod order: Put it behind GUI/Textures/Weather changing mods just in case, besides that it doesn't matter
  • This is my first real mod. Things will probably look unpolished and there might be spelling mistakes, but with time things will improve (hopefully).

@Kurteous Yooo, good find. Thanks for letting me know! Accidentally removed race reference for Skeleton Legions, now its back to the vanilla settings. My bad!

Just a heads up, this mod is somehow turning the skeleton Legions in the Ashlands to humans.

@no quarter! First off sry for the late reply. In the end you're supposed to kill Vraccas, he is not recruitable. You complete the ritual and kill Vraccas and return later to get your reward, after a day or two If I remember correctly that is how you do it. I hope it still helps and thanks a lot for playing the mod :):)

dumb question regarding the vraccas quest: is he supposed to turn hostile after the ritual fails or is there another game state where the ritual can be completed successfull or am i just dumb? i just murdered the whole tower but it doesent feel right
