Seasons of Principles

Description
The description got removed when I updated, so I'm going to fix that.

The Thunderskin is the drum, and my heart is the dancer; the music grows louder, and I need to write the dramatic climax to this arrangement.

Introducing 'Seasons of Principles', which overhauls the Season system by adding in 8 new Seasons!

They are as follows:

  • The Season of Clarity
  • The Season of Alchemy
  • The Season of Agitations
  • The Season of Snow
  • The Season of Vivacity
  • The Season of Hunger
  • The Season of Flutters
  • The Season of Dreams

Each Season corresponds to one of the principles (barring Secret Histories, my apologies), and has its own unique mechanics - dance, dance, dance with all of your heart, or add a bit more power to pigments through alchemy! Beware, though - each season has a way to create Dread, Restlessness, or both!

I like this mod... except for the one season that provides 3 restlessness if you don't have an arbitrary item. This makes things unnecessarily difficult, especially in the early stages of a game when you haven't even had an opportunity to get what it wants.

Hello, I'm just leaving a comment here to tell you that a recent update to the game should have fixed the conflict between mods adding new seasons to the seasons deck. :)

This works weirdly well thematically with the priest legacy, both in terms of ease of access to restlessness and fitting with the themeing of the lock scars but *man* does it pump out so much dread.

@Nanako =^.^= That would be a direct conflict, as High Society adds a new season to the seasonevents deck. Unfortunately there's no way for either of us to fix this issue, as it's an issue with the game code itself. You have my apologies.

@Nanako =^.^= I am deeply sorry to hear that. I cannot contact the author of SoR and SoS as we are not on good terms. A merge of sorts isn't quite possible, I'm afraid.

Yea it turns out that it conflicts with asclepian mysteries, and maybe with season of rivals and season of suspicions

It might be worth looking into these, talking with the authors, maybe coming up with some kind of patch or merged version.

I can scarcely imagine playing without these, the thought of having to abandon one to play this is really uncomfortable

I did make my own attempt at manually merging them, but i've no idea what im doing and failed horribly

@Nanako =^.^= Anything that adds extra seasons to the Time verb will conflict with the mod. So sorry for the late response, I've been real busy lately.

I can't get this working, only the normal seasons are coming up :(

It could be related to a conflict with another mod perhaps? I have quite a few installed...

@surfychicken Oh dear! That must be a remnant from copy and pasting! I will fix that and upload a new fix as soon as possible! Thank you for letting me know :)
