Description
This mod consists of XML patches to tie my most used floor mods together using the amazing Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Architect by Oskar Potocki as inspiration.

This mod adds 4 new wood colors to Vanilla Furniture Expanded - Architect and also includes patches to bring all of the 8 new wood colours to other floor mods. Including: [T] MoreFloors, Avery & Erin's Refined Floors and Expanded Floors.

This is my first mod for Rimworld, so I welcome any feedback!

Added 4 new wood colours:
Ash - A very light grayish wood
Pine - A yellow tinted wood
Poplar - A natural light wood
Cherry - Slightly red tinted wood

All these colours are added to the wooden VFE Architect floors.
Also added to stuffable wooden structures, similar to the wood types VFE Architect adds.

For versions 1.5 and below the mod also includes Deep water bridges of all the same bridge types included in VFE Architect. For 1.6 these are disabled in favor of the vanilla Heavy Bridges. The deep water bridges cost a bit more than the normal bridges. Theyare compatible with Simply More Bridges (Continued) by Lanilor and Mlie. Which means both mods can be active at the same time.

Patched all wooden floors to use all 8 wood colours. The wood color that was visually closest has been used to replace the original wooden floor. This way these patches can be added to an existing save. Note that some existing floors might look a slightly different colour.

Also moved all floors to the regular Floor build category and removed the MoreFloors category.

Fixed incompatibility with both mods trying to add the vanilla wooden floor to a dropdown menu. Removed the Refined Floors version.

All 8 wood types for all wooden floors in Refined Floors.

Added all 8 wood types to the wooden floors.

Also included some generic fixes:
  • Grouped sterile tiles in a dropdown menu.
  • Fixed dropdown menu of plasteel and check plasteel tile.

Known Issues
Textured Carpets from Refined Floors do not use the color picker yet. This is in issue on their end however the mod has been tagged as discontinued, even though it works.

FAQ
Q: Can I add this to an existing save?
A: Definitely! It should be fully compatible with existing saves that are already using [T] MoreFloors, Refined Floors and VFE Architect.

Q: Am I required to have all mods active?
A: No, all the changes and additions on this mod are optional but dependant. This means that you can use this with only VFE Architect and just get a few extra colors. Another possibility would be to use it without VFE Architect, but only with [T] MoreFloors, which means you only get the new wood colours. It should even work as a standalone mod, in that case it would only add my 4 new colours to the vanilla wooden floor and stuffable buildings.

Q: Can I disable the new wood colours and just use the patches?
A: No, the mod does not include a mod config.

Q: Do I need to have the Royalty or Ideology expansion?
A: No, but as in VFE Architect, you won't have the fine floor.

Q: Why?
A: I was inspired by the amazing work done on VFE Architect, and wished my other favourite floor mods had similar functionality. However, to keep the colours in [T] MoreFloors slightly similar to their existing version, I decided to add 4 more wood colours.

Future plans
  • No future plans right now but if anyone has any suggestions I'm happy to have a look.

Update is on it's way. I have decided to remove deep water bridges in 1.6 version. I am not sure if you can build the new Heavy bridges on deep water, if not, I will try to find a way to have those be built on deep water instead.

I will update to 1.6/Odyssey when it is out. I need to test with Odyssey first to see handle the new deep water bridges.

can you include maximum health scaling so that granite bridges have more then 100 health?

Hey there, just to let you know: the author of '[T] MoreFloors 1.4' has changed their mod name to '[T] MoreFloors 1.5', so the patch operation (for 1.4) no longer works.

Updated to 1.5.

I had to remove the wall colours, as VFE Architect also does not support the different wooden walls anymore in 1.5. So my patch to add more did not work anymore.
If VFE Architect adds their walls back I will see if I can add mine back as well.

I have a suggestion:
Make it so the mod disables floors when they are more than one:
RimNauts 2, Architech, and Simply More Bridges all add steel bridges.

@Sol it just needs a 1.5 tag, seems to work fine otherwise
