Shifter Guide Class

Description
This mod includes a brand new class with tons of new custom units and editted sprites.

Shapeshifters are wild enigmas for most of the civilized world. They are in fact powerful creatures that bridge the world between humanoid kind and nature. As the continent gets overwhelmed with different factions the reclusive Shifter Guide gathers his council of Elders and begins to call forth the unity of all Shifter-kind for the survival of themselves, nature, and the world they call home.

The Shifter Guide starts with a small, but but deceptively strong group of Were-Creatures. The Shifter Guide himself leads a circle of elder's in spirtual rituals and magic. They are stationary as a result.

They harvest herbs from forests for use in their rituals to call new shapechangers to their cause. They also use an extreme amount of gold in recruit of Were-Creature warriors.

Each Captain, Chieftain, or Shaman brings with it new rituals and recruitment offers for your class. Every new type of shifter commander you obtain grants a chance of recruitment of their type of Were-Creatures. Collect and field over 16 different types of Were-Creatures, their leaders, and their allies.

Your powerful Council of Elders can up root themselves and move into battle if the time comes and you have the herbs to pay for it or they can summon the most powerful of Were-Creatures such as Were-Elephants or Were-Rocs!

All feed back is welcome and everything is subject to change based on your wonderful feed back!

Compatibility Issues: The Terrain slot 705 is currently being used for the Shifter Camp starting Citadel.

If you enjoy what you find here check out my other mods! The Ghoul Lord, and Dragon Fanatic are already published on the workshop so please give me feed back there as well.

Fun swarm class, although they don't seem to have much late-game potential. Still enjoyed playing it regardless!

Gah. My mistake. The mod works, and is fantastic. Thanks for your hard work!

@fxknight
Just tested a single player game and it's working fine for me. I assume you did the usual mod check? Deleting the files and downloading them again?

I can't get this (or dragon fanatic) to work. Has there been any news on what's causing the issue?

Dragon fanatic has the same problem. If there are other mods, you start as a different faction when the game starts up. If you have no other mods, if you select Shifter Guide it switches to random immediately. Probably not worked since the Maharja monkies.

Really? That is odd. It isnt any different than the other mods I did. Hmm. Maybe a recent patch broke it.

Doesn't work in multiplayer, btw. Differing behavior depending on whether you have other mods enabled, but... Under no combination have we ever been able to get it to work.

Hoping to do some quick fixes for this mod once some of my time frees up. Fix the bios, and adjust stuff based on your guy's feed back.

Very nice mod. Just tried it out and had a blast.
I send out one of each were-shamans and just had them summon their own army over time. That worked quite well. The non shaman were-creatures I put together in a big were-army.
Some feedback:
Roc-Giant has 6hp in giant form. Isn't that a really tiny amount for a giant unit?
Greater Ritual of Mastery has no description.
The Council of Elders doesn't have anything in their description or unit card that indicates that they give additional herbs, but that fact is mentioned in the uproot ritual?

Yeah that makes sense. I was just spamming the summon shifter ritual trying to catch em all. Second try was much better than the first
