Description
Gives each player their own safe zone. Safe zone is triggered by touching the artifact spawned for the player. Safe zone will prevent entry of any player that does not match the artifact owners faction. Safe zones will block all projectiles. Safe zones will not prevent the player or the players grids from self damage.

Note: nonstatic unowned grids will be ejected from the safe zone once the player is in a faction. This includes grids with only one block. When building a new grid within the safe zone it is recommend you use a unbuilt rotor with the correct grid size rotor head to anchor the new grid in place until you can finish an ownable block.

If the player is not in a faction all grids will be permitted to enter the safe zone. Please create or join a faction to enjoy the full protection of the shield.

The goal of this mod is to provide a home base for each player that cannot be destroyed. This should be an effective tool against offline raiding, and prevent players from being stone-aged back to a respawn ship.

If a player ever respawns in a respawn ship, their old safe zone will be removed and a new artifact spawned.

Safe zones will last 2 weeks from last login of each player, and the timer is renewed every time the player logs in or out of the game.

Armageddon mode is included, server admins can trigger the Armageddon countdown. Once the countdown expires all safe zones are removed from the game, and no new ones can be created. This action is irreversible and is intended for server close events.

The Artifact doesn't seem to spawn when starting Suit Only, is that intentional?

it is intended to be perm. The downside is its fixed to a single spot

hi ... is there a config to give the zone a limited time till es disapears ... so new players have only a noob protection for a some time?

Anyway I contacted Darkstar and described the problem that Irator reported, and he pushed out a patch for it in WC. LMK if the issue is fixed, if not ill let him know again.

Hi, why should I be responsible for something another mod is doing that I don't develop?

Weaponcore uses billboards to draw weapon particles and is completely divorced from the games code. I would expect that weaponcore follows safe zone rules but apparently it does not.

If you care, can you tell me how i can get weaponcore to not ignore safe zones?

I do make reasonable changes to my mods to support other mods when able, but in this case I dont see where I can make a reasonable improvement that shouldnt be fixed in the mod that actually has the problem.

Hi, if weaponcore is ignoring safe zone shields that is strictly not my problem and not a problem I can solve. Please take it up with the weaponcore author.
