Welcome to the Ancient Isles of Demis

Brief History

Once there was a glorious civilization ruling over these islands,
maybe more then 10000 years ago.
An empire called the Tectoneans with their sacred capitol city of Tectontis.
Ancient writings tells a story of how Tectontis tear away from the main island
and sank in the sea after a war between their gods to rule over the sacred city.
The gods fight each other with water, earth, wind and fire and in the end
all the gods died in this war.
The creator god was away during this war and when he came back,
he cried so hard it made the sea level rise and the city got lost in his tears.
Out of frustration he kicked at the land and separate the Tectontis area from the main island.
Then he left, not sure if he fell into the vulcano or just gone away...

The religion based on these ancient writings is called Demism named after the god Demis
who created this world. Demism is like a combination of Gnosticism and Holism.
Many temples(pyramids) are build over time to honor their god.
Many empires have risen and fallen in the past but not much is known.
There is one saga called "the rise and demise of the sea-knights", who came from the seas
and build the castle.

The plates can be thought of like pieces of a cracked shell that rest on the hot,
molten rock of Earth’s mantle and fit snugly against one another.
The heat from radioactive processes within the planet’s interior causes the plates to move,
sometimes toward and sometimes away from each other.
This movement is called plate motion, or tectonic shift.
