The Sims - Apocalypse Edition - Main Menu Music and Theme

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the Main Menu art and music.
I remember when I first realized the deeper meaning behind the art. It's intense!

Sometimes you just want to relax!

While playing this game I just felt inspired to create a new experience for myself. It wasn't easy, so I wanted to document my discovery for the education of others.

- Changes the Main Menu music and New Game music to music from The Sims.

There are three Main Menu tracks which are 1:32, 1:36, and 4:09 in length.

- Also changes the Main Menu to art created by Hukergoes on r/projectzomboid, first shared on the Steam Workshop by the amazing Agent042s[CZ], it's a perfect fit!

I have edited the lightning images within my own mod, tailored to my own personal preference, but I highly recommend you check out the original! This mod really helped me understand the mod creation process, thank you!

How to make this mod work:

In order to hear the relaxing sounds of a forgotten era there are two easy steps. First, from within Project Zomboid you can click the Mods button. This will take you to your modlist. Just click this mod and click the option to open the file location. Usually it will be C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/108600/2670552173/mods/Sims Music/media/sound/banks and locate the ZomboidMusic.bank file.

Next, navigate to C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/ProjectZomboid/media/sound/banks/Desktop and replace ZomboidMusic.bank with the one included with this mod.

From there, it is a simple matter of changing your Audio Settings from Official to Early Access.

Restart the game for changes to take effect.

Congratulations! You did it!

If you want to keep the original file, just rename it to OriginalZomboidMusic.bank or something similar. You can also Verify Integrity of Game Files with Steam, but that can undo certain mods such as this one by replacing them with the default files.
