There are two strategies that I've heard about. I'll explain both.
Strategy A: (the one I use)
Walls that are black and white are guarantees, meaning you are certain about the walls in that direction. Try to find cells that have multiple guarantees, and by moving only a couple cells at a time, you can determine where you are.
Strategy B:
This one is a lot more time consuming, but is probably more consistent. What you can do is count the total number of walls in any given row, and then find three rows whose wall count sum to the wall count on the module. The same can be applied to the columns, and with that, you have an almost certain case of finding your positions.
Hope this helps!
I was wondering if you had a strategy that would help deduce my position in the mazes more efficiently. In freeplay mode with a time limit of 10 minutes, I completed the module in 9 of them.
Also to answer your clarification, a white wall means that all three mazes have walls in that direction. It's possible that I didn't clarify that well.
I'd recommend joining the official Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes Discord server:
https://discord.gg/K6uQMyBcYZ
This server is increcibly active, and you're way more to get answers to your questions there, as not many people read the Steam comments to their workshop items.
If there's anything else you want to know, I've sent you a Steam friend request so we can take things to DMs, or just ping me in the Discord server.
In the workshop folder I found a manual for "Overlapping Mazes" but it seems to be outdated (and in the wrong folder).
Also, quick clarification: does White mean that no mazes have walls in that direction? Or that all 3 mazes have walls in that direction?
