Yngling’s Historic Culture & Better Accuracy Fix

This mod aims to enhance gameplay and accuracy of the game without adding provinces to the map. If you want added provinces I strongly reccomend mods like BT or VN. If you want the vanilla map, but want a much more improvement than vanilla to the cultural layout, this mod is for you!

NOTE: The Paradox Interactive site version of this mod is outdated, if you would like me to update it write below and I will.

Here’s what this mod does-

1. New Nations
This mod adds 36 new nations. The only nation currently with a unique mission tree is Scythia, however, this will change at a later point. Please see the countries list discussion for a list of all countries added and their tags. In addition to the 36 added, some vanilla nations have been modified.

2. New Cultures
This mod adds 125 new cultures. Please see the culture list discussion for an indepth list of cultures. Additionally, some cultures placements and culture group have been modified.

3. New Religions
This mod adds several religions, namely all the religions converted from ck2, although bear in mind the mechanics of them in this mod differ from converted games. They have been improved to better reflect the religions they represent. Detailed descriptions of added religions & their functions can be found in the religions discussion.

4. Other Changes
This mod makes various other changes some of which are detailed in the changes discussion. This includes changes to some monuments. This mod also adds some decisions and makes changes to some events.

5. FAQs
There are some frequently asked questions addessed in the FAQ discussion which have been answered there.

If you comment, I will read it and get back to you as soon as possible. If you have a problem or concern I will be happy to see if I can either address that, or even make further improvements, your suggestions help me know what to enhance. If you like this mod, please give it a like, I appreciate it alot.

As far as historically, I'd make no such change, while there are Turcoman villages in places like Jordan & Syria, they would not be majority in the provinces (Same goes for later Circassian as well as Western Aramaic, Armenian, Mandaean (in Iraq), Mizrahi & Yemenite Jewish, and even Kurdish villages). Despite their being in these areas they are minorities in the province layouts in 1444 until the end of the game.

I found out where the problem was, it's one of development expanded's features that changes provinces like that. Thanks for all the previous help yng

I added Scythia to the game and I have made a custom mission tree for them.

I intend to do some more custom trees for Assyria for example in future updates.

Man I appreciate that alot.

As far as your issue goes, all I can think of is it being some event maybe in someone's mod? I have no special province flipping at all in here.

I gave a thumbs up for ya, thanks for the help. It's neither the ai nor the starting provinces, they're the same as in the photos. I've checked the provinces' history and they just flip while I'm owning them, without me manually converting. I'm closely to the 1530s and whenever I check when did they convert, it's always a recent one, even though I owned them for a long time already. From the examples I can remember rn, this happened with Syria and Georgia having provinces converted to armenian, and Azerbaijani in Hejaz and Afghanistan too. Idk what may be causing this honestly, tried looking for most of the recent mods' files I installed that are inuse (including yours) and none of them seem to have anything linked to random converting, so idk what may be causing this.
